I visited "Manjay" last weekend and wow what a delicious experience! The place is fast casual but with a vibrant and happy atmosphere, with Caribbean music that transports you directly to the beach.
The food has influences from Jamaica, Haiti and the Bahamas.
The conch fritters and Honey jerk wings are full of flavor. The bowls are one better than the other and I love that you can choose the sides that everyone loves, especially the plantain chips and the sweet potato chips. The Griyo Bowl is spectacular, the seasoning and texture of the meat is incredible. Just like the Honey Jerk Chicken Bowl too crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. And since I like curry, I also loved the coconut loco shrimp bowl.
They have very good Caribbean beers to accompany the dishes that all have a perfect spiciness and too much flavor.
Additionally, the service was exceptional; Our waiter was very friendly and recommended the best options. You order at the register and they bring your food to the table.
