Came to a show that was scheduled to start at 9:30 it’s almost 10 pm and over 100 people standing in line under lights. Its been about 3 individuals to almost pass out due to the heat from the lights!
This is ridiculous and very unprofessional to have people waiting outside in this heat with no air circulating.
I’ll start by saying I’m a big fan of comedy shows and try to go to one in almost every city I go to. This place could be so much more. Miami Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theater offers a lively atmosphere with comedy shows featuring national acts like John Lovitz, Rob Schneider, Paulie Shore, and Eddie Griffin, making it a popular spot for comedy fans. The venue is clean and well-arranged, with a space that has good sound quality. Large portions of food are available, including appetizers that are consistently praised for being good and on point. Guests often enjoy the French fries, which are considered the best item on the table, and the menu also features dishes like the Grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich with truffle fries, both of which are delicious. The drinks are cold and refreshing, with options like Strawberry Margarita and draft beer. Service is generally efficient and attentive, though some reviewers noted slow service and long waits to place drink orders. The venue requires a $2 drink minimum per person, and many guests opt for water to keep costs down due to the high price of drinks, which start around $9. Parking is available in the plaza's garage for under $10, making it easy to access. The atmosphere remains vibrant and positive, and the comedy shows are consistently good. The venue can be chilly, and bathrooms located in a connected bar may not always be clean, but overall, the experience is enjoyable, especially for those seeking good food, drinks, and laughs.
