Miami Life Cars must be avoided at all costs. They are shake down artists and completely immoral. Claudia at the front desk told me my reservation was cancelled because I missed the pick up time due to a delayed flight, they had no more cars in the economy class, so she had to charge $253.68 for an Minivan or luxury Mustang. I was stuck and needed to get to an appointment on time so I paid it. She then gave me a Kia Forte (economy class car) which made no sense based on her prior assurance that no economy cars were available. She said we would work it out on the return. 2 days later, upon return, Claudia was no where to be found and Cesar, who was very nice, was powerless to help me. I flew home and tried sorting this out by phone. Claudia gave me the run around, and then ghosted me. I then spoke to Frank who said I needed to call back later - which happened several more times. When I reached Tony he lied to me and said he needed to speak with his supervisor, meanwhile Cesar later told me Tony is the owner.I can’t say enough bad things about this company or the people that run it. They give Latinos a horrible name and perpetuate and confirm every negative stereotype about scammer rental car agencies in the Miami area.DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS, they will lie to you, rob you, and ghost you when you stand up for yourself.

BEWARE!This was a really bad experience!When you get to the counter, you will be asked to pay 40$insurance per day as minimun price, 25$ for toll access daily, and extra hiden fees that will not be disclosed to you no mater how many times you ask for it.I tried to change my reservation in the counter to reduce the days or remove the tool card(so I go through no toll strets only) but they told me in every option that it will cost me more to do any change with them.This kind of operstions are prepared to take advantage of the cancelation policy of booking dot com or rentalcars dot com, where if you decide to not take the car in the counter you will NOT get a refund. (That was my case)I suggest to rent a car in a big rental car company in the airportRentalCenter to avoid this kind of situations.
