We were genuinely so excited because the food was amazing, but the experience took a disappointing turn when it came time to pay. After paying 2 out of our 3 tickets, I realized an 18% service charge had already been added — something our server never mentioned. On top of that, the payment screen still showed the usual tip options (18%, 20%, 22%), with nothing indicating that a service charge was already included. It looked like a normal tip screen, so anyone would assume the tip hadn’t been added yet.
When I asked the server about it, her response felt very “oh well,” which honestly left a bitter taste in my mouth. Maybe it’s posted somewhere, but the lack of transparency — both from the server and from the payment system — really threw us off. It felt misleading, especially because one of us has been here over 10 times and now worries she’s unknowingly tipped extra on previous visits.
The food truly is exceptional, but I really hope the staff can be trained to be more upfront about the service charge. Something so simple can make a big difference in how guests feel. Because of this experience, I’m honestly not sure if I would return — and that’s disappointing, because the food deserves better.

Everything was perfect. The food was incredibly good, I’ve never had better sushi before. It was fresh and extremely tasty with all kinds of side dishes. The staff were friendly and kind, they honestly made my day. There were really few people though, I don’t know why people don’t come to such a great place!
Very nice boutique sushi restaurant. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff Amanda and Melissa were very attentive to my needs. Sushi rolls were well made but there were some twists from the standard ingredients. I had the Dragon roll and the sauce on top was not to my liking. I tasted one piece with it and scraped it off the rest. The sauce was not bad by itself, I just didn't like it with the Dragon roll. I recommend if you are not sure of the sauce on any roll, just ask for it on the side. I have no doubt they will accommodate your request! Everthing else was great. Tartar Deluxe was delicious. REAL wasabi was served so don't use too much. I will definitely be back!
