This is a small hole in the wall in a strip center. The owner is the main person. He takes the orders, Cooks and serves the food The food was very good and tasty. I think the majority of the business is just takeout I would definitely visit this restaurant if I'm in the area again.

I absolutely LOVE the Red Shallot! This is my go-to place for Chinese and Asian fusion! This is NOT your average Chinese food; they cook with passion, fresh ingredients, and with recipes that try to be healthier for you. Everything tastes SOOO good! I recommend the pork belly.Aside from the food, the owners are super AMAZING people! They are so friendly and so nice that it's always a pleasure to eat and share.

I drive from Miami for this place - it’s the best Taiwanese restaurant in south Florida hands down. The food is authentic and the couple that runs the place is super nice.

Undoubtedly, this restaurant has the most welcoming owner imaginable, making each visit feel as though you’re stepping into the home of a friend. The food is absolutely delicious and is authentic. Everything is made from scratch in house. Love their teas too!

Amazing tea. Home made and always different. The food is UHMAZING and the service genuine and kind. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND THE BEST ASIAN FOOD!!! Super clean and the kitchen is 100% visible. Great pricing as well. Will be back weekly.

Been a while since I had been here, great to see that they have kept their high standards up! So nice that since everything is fresh and made to order it is easy to get them to tweak the order to your taste. Had a really delicious stir fried meat and vegetables dish. Vegetables were nice and bright, and had a nice crunch. The bbq pork used in the dish was also delicious! Really authentic food. The staff are super attentive and helpful, they're happy to help you figure out what to try out if you aren't familiar with the menu items. The inside of the restaurant is pretty authentic too, typical of what I remember of the very small restaurants for casual dining and takeout that line the streets in the neighborhoods of Taiwan (though neat and tidy).

This was probably the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. We ordered four different dishes a one was worse than the other. The hot and sour soup had no flavor and lacked tofu, bamboo shoots and other vegetables that are usually in that type of soup. We ordered kum po chicken the only noticeable spice was a little heat and it lacked sauce, the other dish was picadillo pork which lacked sauce and flavor and there version of an egg roll which lacked any vegetables or meat. The people that own and work at this restaurant are very nice. The place is not as clean as it should be.I don’t understand the high ratings that this place got. We would never go back there again. I would not recommend any dish in this restaurant.

Superb family owned small place with authentic Taiwanese/Chinese food. Great food; large variety; well priced. The most gracious hosts ever. Owner Bill makes you feel like you are at home, and keen to explain all on the menu. And don't miss the tea of the day-bottomless cups and so very refreshing! I had chicken niblets starter and beef/tomato stew-both were worth a trip back. But honestly, I would try anything on that menu.

Our server who I am guessing is the owner was one of the nicest person I have seen in restaurant business. You don't even get this kind of attention from fancy restaurants. You can tell he is as genuine as his food! It was our first time here and I was hoping the food was delicious so the only thing I remember wouldn't be our server. The food was delicious too! So light and balanced that you don't feel bloated. I wish we were living closer. I would go here once a week! I am definitely going back soon!
