Service was poor and took too long, brought iced lattes instead of hot coffee, and added a 25% gratuity without our consent even though the waiter never checked on us. After a long day, I decided to try this restaurant because it looked nice and clean, even though there was a strange smell when we walked in. There were no other customers at the time, which was a bit concerning.
I ordered a picanha cachapa, and it was unfortunately very disappointing. The cheese had a strange taste, the cachapa itself wasn’t good, and it became overly greasy from the picanha. The meat didn’t taste like authentic picanha, or at least not a good quality one.
When the bill arrived, the total for one picanha cachapa, one picanha bowl, and two cokes was $65, with an 18% gratuity automatically added without any notice. Who are you to say how much should tip? I understand if there were a lot of people for that table but really? Just 2 that even helped to clean up? You guys have a lack of respect for your customers when you do this.
Between the poor food quality, odd smell, and high prices, I won’t be returning. 100% not recommended.

ordered the Dark Roast Beef, which clearly comes vacuum-sealed as shown in the official product presentation. However, the restaurant sent it to me hot, in a regular plastic container and spilled all over the bag. Not only did this ruin the product, but it also shows poor food handling practices.
When I called the store, the person who answered didn’t offer an apology or a solution. Instead, he justified it by saying they don’t have a vacuum machine, so they send it like that. That is not an acceptable response. If you don’t have the proper conditions to offer the product as it should be, then you simply shouldn’t sell it.
It’s very disrespectful to make decisions like that without consulting the customer. I doubt the restaurant owner is even aware this is happening. What truly sets a restaurant apart—beyond the product—is customer service, and in this case, it was seriously lacking. There needs to be more attention and professionalism in that regard.

Super great food! My grandpa and I had cachapas, his with shredded chicken and mine with chicharrón. Really high quality service and the food was amazing. Place is kept clean and tidy. I also had the Soursop drink with milk, super creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness! Would come back again if we’re back in town, we come all the way from Tampa! ✌️

Fantastic food! Don't let the sleepy strip mall fool you, there's a flavor monster at Saman! The classic arepa with butter and white cheese was perfect, best I've had since living in Caracas. The Empanadas were sweet and the fillings savory. Paired it with a pair of Mansana (Apple) sodas. Wonderful meal that made this a spot on my list every time I am in Miami!
