The worst experience ever! Do not buy anything here. In 2021 I order a birthday cake and was perfect, so I decided do it again this year, for Aug 21st 2023 . This time, the customer service was horrible, they never answered the phone, and at 7:00pm they sent THE WRONG CAKE to the birthday person!! with the LAST NAME of the person over the cake!.. They said they messed up the orders and never delivered the right one on the birthday date. They I will get a REFUND and NEVER DID AND NEVER ANSWERED THE PHONE. A TOTALLY SCAM

They never delivered the cake and left us with nothing for our wedding!When confronted on the phone about it during our wedding they promised to refund us but it has been months and we still have not received our refund. Alejandro Perez keeps stringing us along saying we will see the refund soon but has never actually sent us our money back.DO NOT trust this place or purchase from them.

I flew in from Maryland and was told how great their cakes are… well it’s true! Here’s a photo of my Godson’s cake! It was delicious! Their customer service was fantastic! It was last minute and they really were accommodating. So pleased that I’ve added this bakery to my address book for future visits to Miami. By the way, our family ENJOYED it. Rum Cake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First of all let me start off by saying I been ordering cakes from this place for over 5 years. At the beginning they were very detailed and created amazing cakes. The last two cakes looks like they got a kindergarten class to make them. I decided to give them another opportunity because of how good our previous experience had been. This last cake was the nail in the coffin for me and I will never buy another cake from them. They didn’t even get the color right and the spelling looks like they just learned how to write cursive. Once we questioned them about the default of the cake the ladies excuse was she didn’t have the proper tools to make the cake. However they still charged the full amount. It seems like their prices have increased but aren’t paying their employees good money and are loosing good employees. And now loosing customers.

Not reliable. I called Saturday for an order on Sunday, a guy “took the order” and told me to come Sunday, surprise, they did not have the cake .They do not open Sundays! At least not at 1000 as advertised on their website.They do lot have a good selection, their cakes are old.

As is painful is to admit the glorious days of the very best cake boutique in Miami was undeniably Lucilas after her passing and new owners some of the magic has been gone. However the cake designs and texture still there. I wish Triny still working there she knew exactly from the glorious days what came from lucilas is all about. All this new people coming to Miami truly don’t know what was the best cake in Miami. I will give you a 5 for keep trying the legacy. No arreglen lo que no se ha roto ;)

On 1/9 I place an order for a custom birthday cake for woman and 12 coconut cupcakes. I ordered the cakes in mable flavored with flowers design and the cupcakes to be decorated to match the cake.What I received was far from a custom cake and the flavor was NOT marble. The cake I was given is the generic cake they have for walking customers I as have walked in many times and pick up a cake from you last minute.I was charged $215 which is ridiculous for what I received. Attached you will find a picture of the cake I received. As you can see this is NOT a custom cake and not in the flavor that I ordered.I have contact the manager numerous times over the last few months and never have I received a callback. The worst customer service I have ever receive…. buyers beware stay away from this cake designer they are horrible! They are not in the business of creating beautiful cakes there in the business of ripping off customers!!!!!

We ordered a cake for my aunt's 80th birthday, for 20 people, it was supposed to have rum and Dulce de Leche in the middle. After driving for 2 hrs to her house in Naples, the big surprise came in!!!No rum, no dulce de Leche, plain vanilla cake, for $ 160.00.I was fuming. What an embarrassment ?.After a many talks and texts , the only solution they had was to bring in the cake, they would replace it ?..REALLY.WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, and will let all my friends and family know about this. ????
I used to like cakes from Lucila but the last time I made an order for custom red velvet cake and I received Rum instead…didn’t even eat it and let the owner know or who ever runs the instagram account. They promised they will resolve my issue and give me a refund but never did and every say was a new excuse. So yeah I’m never gonna buy from here again.

Don’t be fooled … this is not the original Sweet Art Cake by Lucila and nothing that resembles their recipes. I Recently passed by to try a slice of cake … it is a dry cake (not moist at all) and the buttercream is nothing like the original. This is a ripoff … I’ve been buying from the original Lucila since 1999 and know that taste and flavor perfectly. Don’t waste your money here, it is not worth it!

On August 3rd, I ordered a cake and paid $75.00 for it. It was supposed to be ready at 9:00a.m. next morning. I went to pick it up and the place was closed.I waited 40 minutes and the place remained closed. I was lucky to find Edda's Cake on 4315 SW 72nd Ave open. They have delicious cakes available. Since that day, I have been trying to get my money back .It has been over a week, and I have not received funds back. I spoke to the owners but they have not refunded me the money. I can't give ZERO stars or I definitely would have. It is terrible to see a business handled in such a manner!!!!

The cake looked great but they did not follow directions. I asked for no drip, and they added drip. In addition I asked for funfetti and it was more of a little bit of Marble. Also, the cake tasted so bad! It was very dense and wet and it tasted horrible. The fondant figures looked so great which is why I gave the 2 stars. Never ordering from here again
