I honestly can't say one bad thing ! This spot is amazing and I found it effortlessly bc I was around the area! We had chips and guacamole to start 10/10 then I had birria tacos 9.5/10 the birria sauce was thicker than some I've had at other places, it was unique but it was so good regardless. My husband had a taco salad and it was delicious too 9.2/10 The service was great too! She asked us where we wanted to sit and then brought the food out. It was an awesome experience!

Freshly made, large portions and very filling. Burrito perfectly wrapped, food doesn't come out (like Chipotle burritos), also chips and variety of sauces are offered. Cant beat the price and quality. Lunch special as well!

I was craving some Mexican last night but also glued to the couch. I decided to order some food on Doordash. Taking advantage of the low delivery fee and time, I figured I would try Taco Rico. I am a lover of good, classic Mexican food and can't stand upscale Mexican places with $5 tacos and $15 guacamole - it's never worth it. After reading the menu and checking out other Yelper's reviews, I determined this place was worth a try. I ordered a wet pork burrito, queso, and flan. Each order comes with a small serving of free salsa - your choice of green, mild, medium, or hot. I'm a medium heat type of gal so I loved the options. The burrito was absolutely delicious. Packed with savory pork, rice, beans, cheese, pico, and lettuce. Just phenomenal and pretty dang big. I'll be having the other half of it for lunch today. The queso could have been better. I may just be unaccustomed to the style, but it had a reddish color to it, different from the white or yellow cheese you usually see. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't my favorite. It may be better in store fresh out of the kitchen. The flan was pretty good, but could have been better. The top layer had a strange sponginess to it, but once I got past that, the core was really good and had a classic taste and texture. Overall, I was pleased with my order, and especially the preparation and delivery speed. Only took about 25 minutes from order placement to delivery. I don't live very far, so I will admit laziness in not going to get it myself, but it got here faster than the time it would've taken to drive, order, wait, and drive home. Win for me. The star of the show was the wet pork burrito, and I'll be back to Taco Rico for another and other delicious looking bites soon.

Worse mexican food I’ve ever had. Ordered loaded tacos and one margarita, they didn’t deliver the margarita, the beans are cold and old cooked. Chips are soft and saltless. Tacos taste like nothing. Never ordering again.

As a South Central Texan that has now lived all over the country I miss good Tex-mex food. Taco Rico is by far the best Tex-mex I have had outside of Texas. I have no eaten here 3 times and each meal has been very good and no issues. If you are nearby be sure to get some food from here.

Don’t waste your money. The chicken is drenched in a very strong “adobo” seasoning - very strong. Ruined the food for me. Also quite salty, which I imagine is a result of the over seasoning. Do not recommend at all.

Food here is NOT what you think you'll get. I guess there's people who like that type of food, but it was not good tasting at all. Service was OK, but for the price we paid, not worth the money. Sorry. I had tried your location next to Walmart and it was OK; this one, not so much.

It's getting late and I don't want to leave the hotel since I have to be on site early in the morning. This place looks good and reasonably priced. Once I got my order :( boy was I wrong $4.99 for that sorry sorry excuse for elote?! omg. No flavor, no seasoning, obviously boiled then charred just for looks. Basically naked. The flan? Made for a doll, a baby doll it was so tiny. Like the size of a Jell-O shot. And I've never seen a cup of horchata so small, in any city! This wasn't too bad, it wasn't overly sweet so I was glad about that. I won't lie, I was starving so I did scarf down the bean tacos. They were not terrible but also not what was described. I feel a bit bamboozled to be honest. :( :(

Wow wow wow! Have you tried there loaded chicken nachos, stuffed with everything and a big portion. This is a taco gem spot with the best tacos de casa , tacos Al pastor, everything there is so delightful the only issue I have and why they get a four star is because they never have ice and it's been over a year that I go every Friday here and it's the same thing always. Hope one day they can get that fixed so I can enjoy their horchata and agua de Jamaica

Came into Taco Rico, looking for one of their happier and more enjoyable employees. This girl named Vicky and the young blonde (I think her name was Ivy, not sure...)both with the most radiant energy. Today at lunch I Was met with resistance and attitude by one of the people working in a few hours ago. I usually come in during lunch on weekends, and always served and checked in on every 10/15 minutes. Unfortunately didn't get this kind of service today. I will probably return to going on weekends, instead of during the week. Food as always, amazing!! Always will LOVE Taco Rico

I had hopes it would be good but they proved me wrong. I ordered the steak loaded tacos and they will definitely loaded with lettuce and tomato, hardly any steak, less than teaspoon. I also ordered Chips & Guacamole...wellll the guacamole was definitely not made fresh; they mixed packaged guacamole and packages tomatoes, nasty! Horrible place! Dont waste your money!

Ordered a chicken burrito to-go and am pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavors. My burrito came stuffed with chicken, rice, beans, lettuce, tomato and onions with a delicious sauce. I also ordered a side of chips which were nice and crunchy. A great meal to have while watching TV during this bad weather.

Why go to Chipotle or Taco Bell when there are Mexican restaurants like this? The food and service are consistently good. Whether you are vegan or a meat eater this spot is accommodating and affordable. If you live or work in the area then check them out.
