Visiting from Iowa, and looking for rock shrimp, without driving to Titusville. Found it on menu here, via Trip Advisor search. While having a drink, we overheard a patron ask if the rock shrimp was fresh “yes, caught last night” was the response. We stayed at the bar, because our server was so cordial! The rock shrimp gets two thumbs up. Even better was the key lime tart! Made locally, for this restaurant. I’ve eaten many pieces of key lime pie and key lime tarts. This one wins first place!!! Will be back. Soon.
We normally head up the Coast for dinner yet were heading towards Canaveral to see the night sky and looked up a nice place to eat. We found JC's. A Quiet Place with Good home made Food, a friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Our Waitress was Awesome. The Chowder was Delicious. My pan Seared Scallops were equally good. My Fiancé had the Coquille ala JC and it was great also. Next time out we're going to try the Parmesan Encrusted Salmon.
It's small and older, but the food is really good. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. The service was amazing too. We ate at 4:30p and there was no wait to be seated.

The food is consistently good. It’s quiet and we were able to get a seat even without a reservation!

Everything was great but if your handicapped you have to come in through the kitchen. They need to do something to accommodate handicapped people.

Everything was excellent! The Oak Hill Chowder, hush puppies, fries, pompano fish, and coquille ala jc were all perfect.

Take out order: Sadly the order was not what we hoped for . A craving for shrimp was not what was satisfied.
Recognizing the economy at play; the order of scallops equalled two tiny with a medium scallop thrown in.
Caesar salad was mostly the ends of the stalks but honestly crisp.
It is a challenge to eat out or order out these days.
The order was placed Friday evening.

Scallops
Hush Puppies

The prime Rib was full of Grizzle and the crab legs were rubbery. When the ma ager came over she wanted to argue with me about it. Then tried to charge me 4.00 for a bake potato that was not done. By far the worst meal I have had in 23 year coming to NSB. I will say my wife's filet was really good and so was the appetizer. Really what was so disappointing was the manager wanting to argue. Sad customer service. The waitress was really great through it all

Disappointed unfortunately. Waitress was very nice but food was just ok. Nothing special really. Rock shrimp were very tiny and therefore not plump or juicy, but kind of dried out, and did I mention, tiny. Clams casino were also the smallest clams ever. I think the entire dish would have equaled one or two regular sized clams. Friend’s prime rib was good; fried shrimp was ok but bland. The sweet potato was the best item at the table. Overall a kind of ‘eh experience.
