Such a fun, welcoming vibe! The Typsy Unicorn has amazing drinks, great energy, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay way longer than planned. Friendly staff, creative cocktails, and all-around good times. Can’t wait to come back!

Atmosphere is layed back, food was great, we had the gyrol and the King Louie. Service was great. Beer was cold and delicious. The lager was cold and great.

So been wanting to write this review... so here we go, this place we found one day and man was it the beginning of a great place for us to chill and get things off our minds. Been in oak hill area for about 5 years and have been wanting to find a good local pub for us. The beer is AMAZING! Some may sound kinda weird at first but I would literally come in and have any of these beers. They have great flavor and amazing quality bay I have had! Also the food is to die for. The Dagwood, king Louis are just some of the amazing handhelds we have tried. Above all this place is filled with movie memorabilia, little subtle things to well know things. I would definitely recommend anyone in the area that would like a great meal and some drinks to have this place in mind. I have attached some pics of just some of the meals and features.

Dropped in to do a flight. Very interesting beers . I especially liked rge Stout with delicious ginger aftertaste and the purple reign a blue berry wheat.
On the next visit I'll eat there and update this teview.

Great place. Stopped by on a road trip and had an incredible salad and flight of beers. Beers are excellent. So many stops at breweries across the country with mediocre beer. The Tipsy Unicorn has GOOD beer. The owner is the brewmaster. Great guy. Thanks for the memories and catch you next time!

Great beers! The Sourdough Pretzel and Purple Reign were my faves. My wife really liked their IPA. and the owner/bartender was super friendly! Really cool vibes place!

Edgewater, listen up — this place is an absolute gem. Tipsy Unicorn Brewery is hands-down Edgewater’s latest and greatest, and once you step inside, you get it immediately. An 80s-themed blast from the past, killer vibes, great beer, and that cozy “everyone knows your name” neighborhood Cheers feeling that’s so hard to find anymore.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Mika and JR, over a year ago, and it shows — this place is built with heart, personality, and intention. There’s always something fun going on, whether it’s events, music, or just an all-around great crowd. It’s the kind of spot you stop by for one and somehow end up staying all night.

And it’s the little things that really set this place apart. I mentioned it was my mom’s birthday, and JR didn’t hesitate to add extra glitter to her drink to make it feel even more special. That small but thoughtful gesture absolutely made her day — and honestly says everything about the kind of people they are and the experience they care about creating.

The staff? Fantastic — every single time. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there. I’ve never had a bad experience, and while the entire team is great, it’s obvious that kind of culture starts at the top. Leadership matters, and Mika and JR have created something truly special here.

Small businesses thrive on community support, and this one deserves all of it. If you’re local or just passing through, do yourself a favor: stop in, grab a beer, soak in the nostalgia, and support a place that genuinely makes you feel welcome.

We're locals and this is on our list of frequent places to visit. We're always greeted with excellent conversation from the bartender, often influencing the patrons at the bar to converse among each other, something lovely in a neighborhood brewery. The beer is good and cold and the sandwiches are exceptional. Always a good stop.

Absolutely amazing 👏 must try their fruity pebble brew, cotton candy seltzer and their sandwiches ❤️ service is amazing and you can't beat the vibe.
