So my friend and I were visiting Ellenton outlets and we decided to stop and get lunch. We stopped at Baja fresh mex because they have really beautiful pictures on their restaurant. We ordered a rice bowls with chicken, the garlic corn and two cokes. The coke came in a can no ice and cup were offered or provided The garlic corn was fair and the rice bowl was cold. I took it back and let him know that the rice bowl was cold. He says I just took it off the fryer. I told him I don’t know what you did, but I do know that this food is cold. He replied it is fine. I’ll go make a fresh one. Now mind you the only thing I tasted was the rice that is how I knew it was cold. So when he brings back the fresh replacements, we taste it and it’s nasty. Don’t eat here. Don’t waste your money here and the service sucks too. The food sucks. The only thing we had that was edible was the corn. But if you wanna waste your money, bring it here. I’ll never do it again.44.00 for what? Trash! 🗑️

This food court doesn't have much in this mall but tried this place and was presently surprised. I will say I don't like a lot of things on my food as I'm pretty simple but I got the rice bowl with chicken and it was good. I'm happy with it and would get it again.

YUIUMM! We ordered from from 3 different places in this mall and by far their steak burrito with everything on it was the best and it was HIGE! Make sure you say what you want on it ex. Japalrnis, sour cream, etc. I saw another review who gave low stars but they just forgot to say toppings. DELICIOUS!
The new owner is fixing to turn this place around. We had a huge tasty taco the other day ... and it was fresh and delicious. My understanding is that took over a couple of other restaurants there as well. Please patronize his restaurants - he's trying.

We ordered Tacos wanted steak but they only had chicken. Ordered a burrito had to be chicken cause they didn't have steak. The chicken was so dry and over cooked. It was just down right nasty. The food wasn't even Hot!! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Looking at the reviews they never have steak so why put it on your menu?
