Excellent food and service. We have breakfast at least once a week.
I have been going to this restaurant occasionally for years. It’s one of only a few restaurants that serve you food so hot that you have to wait for it to cool before you can eat it. That’s a very hard thing for a restaurant to do. The food is absolutely delicious. Basic American food.. You can still get lunch here for 10 bucks. It’s one of the best kept secrets of Manatee County. And the service is exceptional. The staff that waits on you gets it.

Found this place a few weeks ago. Kinda hidden in the corner of the strip mall. Had a great brunch with family, food was fresh, with good portions and friendly service. Decor is a little dated, but really is part of the charm. Met Nick the owner. Have been back twice since then for breakfast and lunch. The cheese omelet was hot and tasty and the turkey club was quite large with nice fresh tomatoes. The french fries are a little different but they were hot and flavorful. Wait staff have always been friendly. The cost is on par with or even less that fast food places like Arby's or Subway. They are going to be open on Friday's until 7pm with a fish fry option so am going to try that next.

This restaurant is under new ownership, the quality of the food has gone down dramatically, what used to cost me $10 now cost me 25 and tasted nothing like it used to.
I hate to say it, but I will not be back anymore. I used to love this place.

It's a nice local place. Service is usually very quick. A good go to spot for a quick homestyle breakfast. I love the biscuits and gravy with a side of crispy bacon.

Very disappointed with this place
To begin, I would like to express my strong recommendation for this restaurant. I have consistently received exceptional customer service and delectable cuisine. I would like to address the negative reviews that have been published. I am uncertain why a restaurant is being criticized for an individual server’s actions rather than informing the owner. The success of a business is not solely dependent on the performance of a single employee. If you have encountered an issue with a server, kindly inform the owner before hastily leaving a negative review. This information is crucial for the owner to make informed decisions and enhance the overall experience for our customers.
Small local place that has seemingly been there forever. Was not crowded for a Tuesday lunch. Our server Destiny was pleasant and efficient. Smaller menu than your typical diner. My ham and bean soup was watery but still had a good flavor. Our breakfast omelets were good and portions were good. The omelet was very fluffy and had lots of ingredients. The menu is more limited than your typical diner. We won't go out of our way but would return.
