Five-O Donut Co - Ellenton

Finally tried this place after being turned off by a triggered owner. It's a cute place and the staff were very friendly. The donuts were stale which was such a shame. I'm glad I tried it though. Just not my cup of tea.

The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff is always really kind. The staff by themselves deserve 5 stars but the donuts are the worst pastries I’ve ever had in my life. Dry, over sweet, and no matter what flavor you get it’s going to taste exactly the same.

The hours are always changing. There’s a new piece of paper up there every few weeks. BE CONSISTENT and at the very least update your Google listing please. I needed 2 dozen donuts for my sons birthday but instead you’ve lost a customer for good because despite being there at 1:04 and Google saying you’re open until 1:30 you refused to come to the door to sell the donuts that you have left and I know will go in the garbage instead. So so so SO disappointing.

Sorry, we have been to the store by the college and it was awesome. Went to Ellenton yesterday, 9am ish, got 4 donuts. They were dry and terrible. Come to find out, donuts are delivered the night before, they do not have the ability to cook on site and we could see the bins with donuts that were transported from a different location. Paying 4$ for a donut is nuts, but when they are bad, its really nuts! Sorry, we will not be giving our $$ to this store again.

the donuts are usually great, I came in @7:30am on 08/13. staff were very polite but all of the donuts I got my family were terribly stale.

My family and I LOVE ❤️ THIS PLACE. It is sooooo good. We have probably gotten every donut they offer at one point. Not only are the donuts soo yummy theyre also huge! If I have to say anything bad about this place its the hours. I wish it was open longer hehe. Otherwise, nothing but positive things.

The donuts are great, the staff is super nice. They aren't getting a lot of business at this location, so they cut back on their hours. That was a little surprising and disappointing. The owner donates the remaining supply to the homeless/ needy at the end of the day, which is super awesome. I hope their business picks up.

These are really great donuts & treats!!!
But I’m just wondering if the baker has been asleep lately or maybe new. Twice now the donuts have been over cooked with a burnt taste. We’ve been so many times & they are typically wonderful.

I visited the location with a family member and there were fly's around the donuts and on one of them. I ordered a coffee and the guy making it sneezed without covering up and let's just say I didn't drink my coffee. I won't be back there for repeat service.
