If you want what I call good old southern atmosphere then this is the place. I had the catfish single plate and fried green tomatoes and I was stuffed and had enough for lunch the next day. I highly recommend for a good old time this is your spot.

I placed a 2 take out orders and arrived before it was ready because I wanted my food hot. My fries were completely cold. The chicken wrap was dry could hardly eat it. Very disappointed. The waitress was nice but I won’t be back just hope the peanut pie is good. My friend said her spaghetti was cold but good heated.

New favorite restaurant! Don't miss this amazing BBQ place. Everything was delicious and obviously home made. Crab cakes were some of the best ever! Really surprisingly good place, definitely stop if you're nearby!

Save your money! I’ve never had such dry, flavorless BBQ in my life! The pork was very overcooked with ZERO flavor. The baby back ribs tasted like the bbq sauce but nothing else, the “corn fritters” are hush puppies with a few pieces of corn, and the Mac n cheese was basic. The service is terrible as well. They walk by you a million times without asking if you need anything and if you say the food was bad/bland, they tell you they’ve never heard that from anyone. We will NOT be returning.

Really tasty St. Louis ribs and mac’n’cheese. Okra was okay. The hot BBQ sauce at the table was only middling. Nice ladies handling the service. Recommended if you’re in the area.

My first visit. I had been wanting to visit for 5 yrs. I got the small order of St. Louis ribs with 2 sides and corn fritters? My sides were fried corn and coleslaw. I also got an order of bread pudding. The ribs fell off the bone and were very delicious. Next time I will get a 1/2 rack. The fried corn on the cob was very good. The coleslaw needs improvement. It just cabbage and no flavor and kinda dry. A big 👎🏼 on the coleslaw. U have to have coleslaw with bbq, it's just a given. The corn fritters were awesome and I will order xtra next time. Also a big 👎🏼 on the bread pudding. It was literally mush and no flavor. I was disappointed in that. The bbq sauce was really good.
First timer, what a enjoyable time, great food, best BBQ I ever had, met the owners, who are wonderful folks, 42 years at same location, if you like BBQ, don't pass this by. This is old Florida at its very best. Don't expect fancy, if your nose is in the air, Stay home. We hit them on a slow Thursday and the nicest talk with the crew. They make you feel like family. We had baby back ribs along with 2 sides and the best corn fritters I have had in Florida. Can't wait till next time as menu looks enticing. The hot cherry cobbler was to die for. Grandpa and grandma started it and grandson is owner, but 83 year granny is still there. I am hard to impress, but this has got it right. Best of luck Hickery Hollow
