My date and I had a really enjoyable meal and the noise level was low enough where we had a fun conversation. It is a great place to go for a social dinner. Prices were very reasonable as well.
Beautiful location on the water. Server (Cindy?) was excellent and we never felt rushed in spite of how busy they were.
Nothing was fresh and the waitress was nice and checked in on us a lot, but she had a weird stalling stare. The view was cool, but the food was not.
The Waygu Butchers Cut Steak was very disappointing as was the snow crab cluster add-on. $51 spent for an awful dinner. No onions on the plate as stated on the menu. Waitress said a side of veggies were coming, yet never got them. Service was slow. $200 dinner for 4, not worth it at all!
whiskey joes is always solid. Never fails. Good food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. My kids love this place and are always accommodated. It's one of our staples to go to.
Great outdoor dining and experience. Live music and not too loud. Not crowded comfortably spaced tables dog and child friendly
Dinner date with my daughters and granddaughters! Everything was wonderful! I love that there are yard games and beach toys for the Littles !
Overall a rating of 1.5 . Had a reservation for 6 and arrived on time . Been here numerous times but. Won't be back . Food and service and flies were terrible . The table we were given inside was against the garage door , which the metal of the garage door was over the table ?? So two people had their arms hitting the metal if they moved ?? Service was very slow order took for ever to get , drinks came directly from bar and were not cold , food was over cooked, and the fish and chicken pieces were so small it was mostly coating . Had two children with us and bill was near 300 dollars , with tip . The flies were terrible and we were inside . Most of the food went uneaten . I paid for the whole thing and was really mad when my guests were hungry when we got home . Prices have gone way up for the quality , used to be reasonable not anymore . Also they lost half of their parking due to new highway so a lot less parking now
Neither the French fries nor the sweet potato fries were sufficiently fried. They were both completely soft—not at all crispy. My grouper was good, as was the sauce. Others enjoyed the pollock with the fish & chips, but said the coleslaw had no flavor. Service was very good, and the view very nice.
We went for Father's Day and my husband ordered their wagyu steak. It was low quality and they overcooked it. When he pointed that out to the waitress she agreed it was overcooked but another woman brought it back saying it was cooked properly according to the chef and proceeded to argue with my husband. It was very clearly overcooked medium vs medium rare and the ends were even well done. My veggies were also undercooked and the fried foods the rest of my family got were over fried. Apparently their chef went to cooking school at a clown college. They did nothing to remedy the situation so I got to pay $46 for a piece of garbage steak that my husband ending up eating with ketchup because of how bad he said it was. Won't be going back

Waited 1.5 hours for dinner... 35 mins for a raw (shrimp) appetizer, over an hour for two entrees , one was good the other was so salty it was barely edible. Service was lacking on what seemed a slow night. Definitely not worth the price.
The food was low quality and it tasted like that don't change the fry oil very often. Don't order the mixed drinks as they were not good with very little alcohol. Placed seemed like it takes advantage of being on the water to get its business.
It was a fantastic atmosphere and the food was amazing my daughter loved everything she ordered.
We sat outside on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Casual. Prices were quite reasonable and the view of the manatee river was nice. I'm surprised it wasn't more crowded. Our service was fast and attentive. If you're looking for waterfront dining in the ellenton area, I recommend.
Beautiful beach view. Service was on the slow side and the food was average. In the future I would go there for the view and happy hour.
