I’ve been here 9 years and at first it was a dream, but after a ton of turnover with the HOA we now have the absolute worst representation possible. They will fine you for your tire touching your own grass, they will stack violations and never let them refresh so after a few years you will be lit up with fines and suspensions from the clubhouse etc. Ironically the restaurant that we are forced to pay 480$ at the beginning of the year as credit does not roll over and if you don’t spend it in the year you’re screwed. The restaurant charges 20$ for a sandwich and the poor people they employ are turned over so often. They forced all residents to pay the same dues despite some multi million dollar homes having 10x the trees and maintenance compared to a low level 2-3 bedroom home for middle class folks my fees more than doubled from $760 a quarter to now $1800 my home is 1450 sq ft across the lake we have 3000+ with 60 foot lots and a lake they pay the same thanks to the unchecked power the board has. Families? Stay away from them. Halloween you will find maybe 10 kids in the neighborhood max. They are bullies, my children have been asked to show proof they live there at the amenities center multiple times. Fact is this should have been 55+ but it pretends…they’ve ruined a gorgeous community and made it hell for me and my family…DO NOT BUY IN THIS COMMUNITY, unless you like being bullied by snobs and losing time and money. When they decide to fine you they will block access to entering the community and force you to wait in a line behind guests and show your id to the security like you don’t pay 600$ a month, petty I know
