Melissa, Marci and Kenny are AWESOME! Even during the Manager's Reception, when it's super busy, they are so pleasant and attentive! I would stay here again just because of their incredible service.

The Eagle's Nest is the in-house restaurant for Embassy Suites in Fort Meyers Estero. If my review was based on the meal we had the night before THIS disaster of a meal, it would get at least 3-stars. This review is not based on that meal, which was a passable rack of ribs. This horrible food we received deviated so far from the menu, it's almost laughable - had we not paid almost $30 per meal. The menu says, "Crispy Brussel (their spelling, not mine) Sprouts." The BS (perfect abbreviation) we received were barely steamed and tasted of the freezer. They were so NOT crispy and they were inedible. Disgusting. We ate a couple and left the rest of the BS on the plate. The menu says, "Grilled Asparagus." The GA we received was NOT grilled at all - it was simply limp steamed asparagus. We ate two spears and left the rest on the plate. The "Sauteed Broccoli" was simply plain ole' steamed broccoli. The "Yukon Mash Potato" tasted like out of a box. The "Bordelaise" sauce was just heart-breakingly awful. It was an oily, thin, brown sauce base that seemed it was poured out of a jar or can. And there were what seemed like canned mushrooms tossed in. I don't eat mushrooms and classic Bordelaise doesn't have mushrooms. This should not be called Bordelaise sauce. Julie Child must be turning over in her grave. The "Prime" Ribeye was anything but prime. It had a weird, mealy texture (frozen/thawed, perhaps?) and was served too well-done - it was ordered "Rare." A lot of it, too, was left on the plate to keep its equally inedible BS friends company. We asked what the house salad had in it and were told "romaine." There was NO romaine in this salad - just spring mix out of a container. Ugh. The only thing halfway decent about the meal was the T-Bone, which was okay and was ordered "Med Rare" - it was more rare than the above-mentioned Ribeye. (insert sad face here) I don't know who they had cooking on Thanksgiving Night, but it certainly didn't seem like it was the same person who was cooking the night before. We were so disappointed and mad at the utter waste of time and money spent on this "meal!" We will tell everyone that unless there is a blizzard that snows the hotel in, they shouldn't eat at the Eagle's Nest Cafe - and to avoid this kind of disappointment, neither should you.

Oh my word... absolutely horrid. The fish on my salad smelled to high heavens and the cheese had mold (see pictures). Luckily management refunded us immediately.

I will be honest, we weren't too sure about eating here but it was our last night and hurricane irma was interrupting out vacation plans. We just finished packing and getting gas and really didn't want to venture out because we knew our drive the next day was going to be long. Being from Buffalo, we had to try their breaded wings. They were really good and the seasoning in the breading had a little kick. We have wing dings at a local bar same concept but the breading is a bit bland and you need to dip the wings in hot sauce. These wing really didn't need the hot sauce they had a great flavor. But what I liked the most they gave us an option for Ranch or Blue cheese. It the south, they generally serve it with Ranch. So yes, that was a nice touch and happy they offered both. Great Job to the chef here because I did have a CBC earlier in the week and it was spectacular. And breakfast foods were all great quality for being free. Enjoyed the fresh fruit with breakfast. Hopefully we will be back soon missed out on spending time with family and leaving early. Hoping all the employees are safe and out of arms way.

I had gulf pasta dinner. 4 large shrimp, 5 mussels (3 not opened), 6 tiny pieces, tiny tiny, not equaling one small scallop, served with a delicious pasta sauce over penne. The presentation was poor, but as i said earlier, it was delicious. Server was good, just needs help with presentation, adding more Scallops pieces and maybe a different brand mussels.

This is three and a half stars. Located in Embassy Suites behind Rib City in the middle of the atrium...airy outdoorsy feeling... nice atmosphere. TVs in areas. I had the salmon salad salmon was fresh tasting even if it was frozen it still tasted fresh it was caramelized and not water logged but moist inside with a rum glaze and a crispy outside, bacon was crisp not refried may have been a product but it was crisp bacon not cheap bacon bits. Didn't taste oil laden or refried. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich with mustard bacon and barbecue sauce the thing which was tender and full not skimpy bread was fresh. He did not care for the waffle fries but it had little to do with the restaurant and more to do with all the fries down here. The beans were tender sweet and delicious.

Surprisingly good food We were actually heading to another local restaurant that had a long wait and we were in a hurry. We saw the hotel and thought we would give it a try. the food was surprisingly good and all of the items seemed very fresh. Portions were a good size and the prices were great for a hotel restaurant. I had the CBC Sandwich $8.95, Grilled chicken, bacon and provolone cheese served on bistro bun with French fries, coleslaw a great pickle slice. The sandwich was very good and the fries were shoestring, fresh and hot, Perfect! We also had the Awesome Angus Burger $10, which was a little short of "awesome", but still very good and the Embassy Wrap $9.95 Turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo in a tomato basil wrap with French fries and coleslaw. The wrap was huge and very good as well. One caution, it was hard finding a server the first night as the dining area didn't have other diners, so we had to track someone down, but once we did, service was prompt and courteous.

The Eagle's Nest is the house restaurant for Embassy Suites in Estero. We ate there on arrival night as various members of our party checked into the hotel over the course of the evening, and we were pretty well taken care of. Some of the food was just standard fare, but my seafood pasta was surprisingly good - lots of rich flavor and fresh seafood, as you'd of course hope for this area. So of course you should get out and about during your stay, but if you do remain at the hotel, this is a very palatable option. It's better than average food, limited by its location in the common area of the hotel.
