Flavor was good, however the ceviche is made with Basa(a type of catfish, also known as swai or river cobbler, that’s farmed. It is a lean, white fish with a mild, slightly sweet flavor that is often used as a more affordable alternative to other fish like cod); I think the option of a different type of white fish should be offered, specially at those prices.
Overall food was ok. The lomo saltado looks good but doesn’t taste like it should, needs more garlic, cilantro and some soy sauce in the sauce, it is the most blend lomo I have ever had. The fettuccine huancaina with the inside skirt was good, same with tallarines verdes with steak. Hostess was very nice as well as our server and no wait as we had reservations thru open table. Please fix the lomo!!!
I drove 45 minutes because our dining experience was really good. Today my family and I thought we were a diferent restaurant. Food was not the same. Steak (I asked for medium rare) and I got well done
