Just walked in for a Mother's Day lunch and walked right back out.
Sign very clearly stated Please Wait to be Seated - no one around to seat us. Fine, no big deal we can wait. Until the woman standing all the way across the restaurant couldn't be bothered to use her words or even approach us- just flapped her arm at us with a scowl and what my husband saw as an eye roll. Not a full restaurant by any means, not a smile, not a hello, not even a hurried "Have a seat anywhere"....read full review
First time, but won't be the last. Enjoyed the pizza and chicken carbenaro. Everything prepared to perfection. Service was excellent. Also tried the Gnocchi and garlic. Delivery of food items were very impressive time wise. If you haven't tried this place, you need too. Highly recommended. The place was busy and their take out was also continuous.
when customers walk in they should be greeted and acknowledged. this never happens at Marsala's. it's such a basic thing to do in the restaurant business. either management doesn't know or just doesn't care. either way it makes things uncomfortable from the start. it's happened to my family more than once. I own a business and it's just unbelievable that it happens over and over again with Marsala's staff. it doesn't matter if they are busy or slow.
