The pizza was very good. The pasta was very filling due to the large portions and they make a great pizza dough.

Shared service model so we didn't have a primary person which made it hard to get good service. Food wasn't great. Meatball was overcooked and overworked. Calamari larger pieces were tough, smaller pieces were ok but all lacking seasoning. We had multiple pizzas, sausage was lacking flavor and not good quality. Vegetable pizza was just a bunch of vegetables dumped on a pizza... boiled, not cooked with the pizza. On positive drinks were decent and cheese pizza was good We didn't return any food and we should have but we do not plan to return. It was a big disappointment

We had a fantastic experience. Both of us are from the northeast and are picky about our pizza. My boyfriend has been searching for 10 years in Florida to find a good pizza. The pizza at Pezzo's wasn't just good it was excellent! The crust was really tasty, thin and crispy. Toppings were excellent and great choices on the menu. We shared a Caesar salad which was homemade and outstanding. I definitely recommend this restaurant and we are looking forward to returning again soon!

Pizza was undercooked. Told this to owner/manager. He said sorry to hear that & walked away. I’m taking my pizza home to finish baking it. We won’t be back. No vote for them in the final two. My husband's pizza was fully cooked & delicious. The meatball appetizer was very good. The service was good.

Pizza was just ok. Ordered a meatball to test their texture and flavor. Came without sauce. Never have had that happen before. Good texture and flavor. Service tried but brought wrong wine. A little noisy at 6pm. No tap beer. This is a thin crust, wine and bottle beer place.

Pizza was great. With the 10" size, everyone can get what they want. 10" is plenty for 1 person and 2 could likely split one.

I've been to Pezzo many times and it's always been outstanding. This time it was terrible. We had to get up and ask for a server since no one came to our table, and the food was completely different. The pizza ( a margherita pie) was thicker crust that wasn't crispy and was entirely covered in cheese and there was no basil. The eggplant was almost inedible. It wasn't sliced, it was just a big hunk of eggplant. The sauce and the meatballs were very good. We asked if it was a different cook and was told yes, so I can only surmise that the sauce and meatballs were already prepared by the regular cook. This was such a shame because it has been so great and so consistent. But now I will have to call and ask which chef is in kitchen before I make a reservation? Might have to go back to Grimaldi's in Bell Tower for pizza - even though it's so much farther. Pezzo should get rid of the cook that was there on 3/27. If that was the only time I'd been there I'd never go back.
Update: The owner has reached out and has been very attentive to understand my rationale for the review and is working make things right. I will go back again!

Very good pizza and they give a free bruschetta with every meal that is also very good! I loved the food and I can be a food snob. haha. Will definitely go back.

Food was delicious and service was great. We were next to a very large and very loud party, so that part wasn't great. But I would definitely go back and make sure that we had a side table away from the big, loud tables.

10/10! Our server Mark (visited 3/4/25) was awesome! The first time complimentary bruschetta was so good! Would definitely get again! We loved the sourdough bread and sauce and cheese dip appetizer. I had one of the best Margherita pizzas ever! The staff came to our table to check on us often and we felt very welcomed. We are from Chicago and picky about our pizza, but this lived up to its reviews! Highly recommend supporting this great small business! We will definitely be back our next trip in town.
