Outstanding food. Great ambiance. Great wine selection and the food was delicious. Will return when in the area. Kudos to the chef, he came out and said hi to our baby :)

If you like Italian food made perfect, then you will love Ristorante Farfalla ! From the greeting as you arrive , the fantastic waiters to the perfect food. Mike the chef prepares everything from the appetizers, main meal and fabulous desserts all wonderful made that you will believe you are eating in Italy!!!!

This restaurant is a lesser known neighborhood gem. I'm a snow bird who has been coming to FL for 15 years. In the month that I'm here I eat here 3 or 4 times. The owner is the chef. He insists on cooking all the meals and he has been doing it over 25 years. The menu is filled with delicious Italian dishes and daily specials. I had veal Michaelangelo and it was mouth watering delicious. Give Restorante Farfalla a try and you won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful dinner. Michael did a great job as always one of our favorite places to go.

The food and service at Farfalla is always exceptional. Today we were a group of 5 and each had different food; everyone was very pleased at the quality, temperature and taste of their choices. Have frequented this place for 20+ years and will continue to do so.

Absolutely delicious! Best veal piccata I've had! Elegant decor and outstanding service! Not sure why there weren't more people there on a Saturday night, but by far the best meal we have had in the area! Bravo!

Another absolutely amazing meal! Calamari is always delish. Tonight's seabass was the best I have ever had! Well done RF team! The chocolate mousse cake was a decadent way to end a fabulous meal. Put this on your must do list for dining out!

Food was ok, But It was the worst service I have ever had. We set a reservation on open table for 6:30 and realized that probably wasn't necessary since there were only 5 tables with people in the place. We sat at our table being ignored for 20 minutes before being offered bread and no water. 20 min later we were finally asked if we wanted to order a drink. We ordered a $90 bottle of wine that we thought would be a good pairing with our dinner (A nice Barbaresco). Unfortunately we finished the bottle of wine before anyone every took our food order and sat being ignored. When we finally were served and got our food it was over a hour and half and no one even asked if we needed another drink. The meal was mediocre at best. After we finished we sat for another 30 min wondering if anyone was going to ask about desert... but like before we just sat there being ignored. We eventually had to go ask some one if we could just have our check. We are locals to Estero and support our community by eating out regularly and understanding that the main reason for dining out isn't because of not being able to cook but to pay for and enjoy good service. This place has no idea what "service" is and I would recommend never wasting your time or money on this place. I would have had better use of my 3 hours at the Wendy's next door.

We have been going to this restaurant practically since Chef Michael opened his doors, 26 years ago. He is meticulous about his home away from home. Food is always consistent and tasty, restaurant clean and the waitstaff is friendly and helpful. What more can you ask.

This is some of the best food!!! We have been going here ten years or more. I had the Veal Picatta and Caesar Salad this evening. Excellent!!!

Waiter was very professional and not over bearing or hovering. Ever need or request was met without question. Food was very very good. My steak was exactly as I like it. Husbands veal was very tender and moist.

While the service was fantastic and the history behind the restaurant was exciting, the food was less than adequate. Pasta was dry and hard, Marsala was paper and tasted like flour and the bread seemed to be several days old and reheated to sever. I wish I could leave a better review but for the $200 we spent I was so disappointed in the taste and quality of the food.

We had dinner with another couple. Reservations. Seated promptly. Large menu. Server was knowledgeable and professional. Two of us had the sole, one had veal barolo and one a seafood special. Everything was excellent.
