My family and I decided to try out Rusty's for the first time, eager to experience a new spot and enjoy the Super Bowl. We were excited for the game and especially when the halftime show featuring Bad Bunny( A 2026 Grammy Award Winning Latin Hispanic Song Writer) began. However, our anticipation quickly turned to dismay. As soon as Bad Bunny took the stage, the volume was muted, and we heard a chorus of boos erupting around us. It was jarring. Why would the sound be cut just as the performance started? Why not when the game was on? Why was there a need to mute and not let others enjoy the halftime show? We had come to Rusty's to enjoy the game and have a good time, but the sudden change in atmosphere made us feel unwelcome . The energy shifted dramatically, and the initial excitement evaporated. We ended up paying and leaving, deeply disappointed and uncomfortable, which was the opposite of what we had hoped for.

We stopped in last week while on vacation. Not busy when we arrived, got very busy due to trivia night. We had a group of 8, ordered food, they brought everyone's food out but 2. Not sure why wait staff was not on top of his table, was a longer than usual wait before he came back to check and see if everyone had their order. He said he would go check with the kitchen for orders, came back after a while and asked what they had ordered. Finally brought food out as everyone else was finishing their meals. Final straw was when an 18% gratuity was added to bill for large group. Normally wouldn't have cared about this, but when the service was lacking, a little absurd to add onto bill. We were not even offered a discount for our issues either.

Fish and chips special on Thursdays was very good as was the clam chowder. We will come back next time we are in southwest Florida.

We've enjoyed the ribs, burgers and tacos on past visits, but today I ordered the coconut shrimp appy for lunch. It was as though it had been over-fried 3 days earlier, sat in the fridge and was microwaved before serving it to me. The appearance was bad and at least two of the shrimp were like rubber. The music was too loud for a slow afternoon. We'll go back but only for the specials.

Went for football. Not our first time. No complaints until the end. Good service, good food and all around awesome atmosphere. However, towards the end a table came in carrying a dog. They had no service vest on and they and dog sat on a chair and also was licking the table. We did see the bartender/manager come out and say something about the dog but they remained. . We said something upon leaving as we would’ve stayed for probably another beer at the end of the game, except we were disgusted as service and restaurant people ourselves. The Supervisor/manager asked me if I would like to say something. Not my job. This is totally against the law and disgusting. Will be awhile before we can come back. Perhaps somebody needs to brush up on what is actual legal for an animal in a restaurant/bar that serves food.also, must add… our dog was at home… we he belongs…

Excellent customer service, atmosphere, prices & yummy food & spirits. I highly recommend the bacon bleu cheese burger & fries. They have lots of daily & happy hour specials. Stephen & TC were kind and attentive. TC went above & beyond to be sweet to lil Lulu who was celebrating her 7th Birthday🎊 this week, we hadn't been out in months due to a surgery sooo it was really a blessing to get out abit . Also, atmosphere was very welcoming & friendly patrons. Thank y'all 🙌

Recently found out the best bartender was let go. I find this to be very unfortunate. We come to see the great servers and bartenders that have been there for years. We used to frequent other establishments in the Estero area but Rusty’s became our favorite. Unfortunately we might be looking for another local spot now.
