Ruth's Chris Steak House

Came here on a birthday dinner date. The food and service were amazing. The atmosphere was a bit noisy just seemed like there were multiple celebrations going on the same evening.

Enjoyed their Happy Hour specials, both drinks and food. Loved the great service and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Everything was simply fantastic! We started with a calamari appetizer which was crispy and plentiful. My main entry was a bone in fillet, which was succulent and the best I’ve ever eaten. We had delicious side dishes with the brussels sprouts, mushrooms, and au gratin potatoes. Their mixed drinks were huge and generous. Lastly, our server Skyla was a gem.

Good for the happy hour specials

For the last 10 years there has been a steady decline at Ruth’s Chris. This is not the same Steakhouse experience it used to be. The Dirty Martini with blue cheese stuffed olives was a 10. Their Steak options are still very good and the béarnaise exceptional although the medium rare strip steak had a center that was still ice cold. The Caesar salad was subpar. The sides were solid and then when you’re hit with the check, it all becomes clear… you do not get what you pay for. As mentioned in another recent review, the 400% mark up on the likes of J. Lohr and DAOU is overreacting. Fact: a 9oz pour of DAOU is $30!

Capital Grill is a far better choice for the same $$.

A fabulous meal from start to finish. My filet was cooked to perfection. The mushrooms with veal demi glaze were delicious. Our server (Sherry) was attentive and helpful with the menu and the atmosphere was warm and cozy - perfect for our special occasion.

Ordered the steak sandwich at 5:00pm 5/18/2025 to Go. My first meal of my day due to my busy day at work.. Completely disappointed. Steak overcooked/part of it was burned and cold, the bread was hard and also burned part of it, tasted funny and was cold too. So, so disappointed never again.

graduation. Steaks were among the very best we have ever had. Highly recommend everyone to go with medium rare.
Food was all perfectly done, friendly staff all were great. Managers checked in with us to make sure everything was good. Wonderful personalized service. Even the bathrooms were nice.
I got the soup of the day, French onion as a test. ( Most restaurants serve an overly salty version that is horrid.)
They passed this test with flying colors. This one was absolutely perfect, with a very rich,flavorful broth.
Not inexpensive but when you have a special dining experience, your memories will be worth more than what the meal cost.

Happy hour menu has changed and is no longer a draw for us. We have come monthly for several years, but no more.

Our server, Robert, was exceptional!! He was very welcoming, very warm and didn't miss a detail throughout our meal!! We will definitely ask for Robert when we come back!! Thanks for a great experience, Robert!!
