Absolutely wonderful dining experience

I've been to T42 several times previously and enjoyed it. It had a good atmosphere, live music or a DJ and enough people to give the place atmosphere and a fun spirit. We've even danced there after dinner! When I made the reservation for 7 people this evening I made a note that this was a birthday celebration. It was so disappointing! There was no live music or DJ, very few people in the place and yet the service was extremely slow and pretty poor. Several times I and one of my guests had to go looking for the servers. We had to ask for lights to be turned on we were not served our meals at the same time. Several dishes on the menu were not available, ditto several wines. Just an extremely disappointing experience for a birthday celebration. I and my friends won't be returning any time soon. Someone has dropped the ball here.

Small plates and sharing are the best at T42. Recommend outside over in, as it gets too loud.

First time we ate here, but not the last. Great small plates. Pear flatbread was outstanding as was the Tuna tartar. Wonderful chocolate cake for dessert

We love the food at T42! It's always great. The avocado fries and fiocchi pear are wonderful.

A great spot to try new things! I love the small plate concept as there are so many wonderful things on the menu!

Mother's Day Went for a nice brunch at T42. Have never been before so was not aware of what to expect. It was explained that they serve small portions meant to be shared... (?). How does one share a small portion? I ordered French toast with peaches. Husband ordered lemon blueberry pancakes. 1 side of crispy potatoes and 1 side of sausage crumbles. What arrived: 1 thin slice of French toast with peaches and cream. Just 1 slice.... Delicious, but kinda wish I didn't share with hubby.... Husband's 2 pancakes were over cooked to nearly burned and dry. Had this not been the case, the flavor would have been very tasty. We didn't complain. Waitress stopped by to ask how the brunch was.... Never received the sides. The ordered went to a different table. She was very apologetic. At this point we should have just paid the bill and left. But, she promised 3 minutes. Potatoes came out not at all crispy and way undercooked. The sausage crumbles were hard marbles. Yup.... Should have just forgone the sides. We were comped the potatoes and 10% of the meal. Would we return? Meh....

We will definitely return. The food we very good and the service was great. We could hear the music from the bar area but was okay since we were in the dining room.

We had the pleasure of having our Easter brunch at Anthony’s restaurant, his staff was super sweet, very attentive and they had a lovely musician for the brunch! The food there was superb, which is a rare occurrence in Florida restaurants. The staff members who waited on us in particular were Angel and Suzanne, they made sure we were taken care of every step of the way and we’re just LOVELY people. Highly recommend the spot for tapas. Please give this place a shot you won’t regret it!

We have gone to T42 a few times now. 4 times for dinner and twice for Sunday Brunch. I take my elderly parents there. The 1st time we had brunch, it was okay. They were able to just make my parents scrambled eggs and bacon with a fruit dish. Scrambled eggs and bacon is not a regular menu item - but they use those ingredients for most of their other menu items. Yesterday, my parents ordered the same breakfast - after waiting over a half hour to place the order. I ordered off the menu - an eggs Benedict selection. It was over 45 minutes before I received my food. My parents had not received theirs yet at all (really, scrambled eggs and bacon). Eventually I had to find our waitress and the manager to determine what was going on. The manager came out to our table and said that since the scrambled eggs and bacon were not on the regular menu, the cook had refused to make it!!! REALLY!?!?!? I asked if they were ever going to tell us, or just let us site there all day? There was no answer to that question. The manager did say that he was having to cook prepare the scrambled eggs and bacon. It came out about 10 minutes later. I guess scrambled eggs take longer to cook on their stove than mine. When my parent's breakfast was finally brought to the table, we were told that they decided not to serve a fruit plate that day (it is normally on their menu). Apparently, there was not fruit to be found - but wait - what about the berries that were listed as toppings on a few of their breakfast pancakes, waffles, or French toast (not sure which one, but is was listed as a topping on one or more of them). Also, what about the peaches that they wrap the bacon in - which was how our "Plain" bacon actually came? Beyond ridiculous. Another point, which I have mentioned before - including to the manager at the time - when you have live or loud music in the bar area, which is open to the rest of the restaurant and easily heard - Please, please shut the house music off! It's so annoying!

The ambience in the restaurant was strange, there's live music that just stopped at 9 PM with no music on the menu is very strange and the food was bland and definitely not worth the price. It was like eating worse than diner food at a nice restaurant. The service though was very good. I would not return to this restaurant.

Expensive and little portions. The food was not as tasty as I would have thought for the small portions they serve. We waited 10 to 15 minutes for iced tea, though my margarita took only 5 minutes.

We always enjoy this restaurant. The selection and quality of the food is excellent. We have never had bad service and didn't on our last visit, but we did have some service issues that I hope are corrected. We ordered drinks and shortly after ordered our first course. The first course came before the drinks and my friends selection arrived much later than mine. The same thing happened with our entrees. Mine took longer to come out, and had to insist that he ate so it wouldn't get cold. All in all, it was still a wonderful experience and I highly recommend.

Excellent service & food. From the avocado fries as an appetizer, to the Mediterranean Grouper we had for dinner, followed up by the pear/Brie flatbread for dessert, everything was fabulous. T42 is a hidden gem in Coconut Point that you need to try! It was moderately priced, had great service, & live entertainment. We will definitely return soon!

The food, as always, did not disappoint. Great mix of choices and flavors. Drinks were exceptional, excepts they ran out of a mix when we wanted a second drink. We were glad that we chose to sit outside because the band in the bar area was loud, average, and unnecessary. Doubtful the group brought in extra clients. The service was fair - very slow. I don't think they were very busy but perhaps the slim staff they had was being pulled too thin, which is the impression our waitress gave us. This is one of our favorite restaurants, so we'll continue to visit and hope the service improves to the level it was during prior visits.
