Excellent place
Excellent service
Safe to say food was alright…although I found a hair inside my batch of coconut shrimp it was okay. My cousin flew down to visit and we were excited to enjoy my amenities center and eat some delicious food, she ordered a SIMPLE caesar salad and fries and was asked the question “What choice of protein would you like?” as if it was included with the salad, well WRONG. The check came along and she was up charged SEVEN WHOLE DOLLARS. A salad and fries should NOT cost $30!!! Horrible service, we also had waited 20 minutes just for our drinks to be ordered when there was only one other family in the restaurant. Highly dissatisfied, save your bucks!
My dad lives there at the Place, and we love going over to the clubhouse. Great drinks and atmosphere and the service is great, especially Erica. She’s the best!
Ate here several times, so far, and the food and drinks have always been AWESOME. This, on top of a staff that gets a 10+ on their Service, will keep us coming back.
Our party of 6 had 4 good meals and 2 not good (grouper tacos were salt bombs and greasy). However, the crab cakes were very good, as was the grouper dish. The short rib was good, but the risotto under it was too salty.
Overall, if the cut back the salt, they would have was better food on a nice menu.

Waited 45 minutes for service. Drinks were a week. Many people with glasses of water on the table no drinks no food. Under staffed. Not consistent presentation of menu

Everything was good, but not great. Sort of loud and busy when I was there.

Service was great, I believe it was Shawn who was our server, food was ok.... My chicken was very dry and bland and the chef gave the server the wrong sauce.

To the Barefoot ResturantReally bad serviceSadly, this place did not do it for my family and I. We were sat by the door (nice spot), but NO ONE came to attend to our needs for 20 minutes. At this rate, 20 minutes means we've already had our order ready. We had to place our order with the bartending manager who noticed my discomfort. Well, our food didn't arrive until 40 minutes later, and still no one came to service us besides the food runner who likely felt bad for my family. I'm truly disappointed because it felt very uncomfortable in this space because we were the minority in the restaurant. Say what you want about my feelings, but as a minority it is hard to ignore or not think about the elephant in the room that we were the only black family present.Gratuity was included, and it seemed to be going to the server that never showed up. Mind you, we made eye contact with her several times, and she only asked if she could take our plates when we finished our meals. When I addressed the issue with the manager she of course, passively addressed our issues. She stated the server "knew we were being attended to" (which we barely were) and also questioned if our food came on time. I told her of course not and my daughters meal was cold. Her response was, "I wish you would have told us so that we could have taken it off." If I had asked for the removal, it would have been 5 bucks. As a minority I refused to give her potential ammo to stereotype me and my family further. So I looked at her and told her it is what it is. This place has the potential to be great. It may already be great. But it certainly wasn't tonight. For the black family (mine) felt less important and ignored. In the moment, I couldn't complain because of principle, because the manager certainly would not have understood our feelings on the matter. Thank you to the bartending manager for trying and the amazing food runner (probably Latina) for trying to look out for my family during the uncomfortable night out. It sucks because its my daughters bday dinner, and it was not fun to deal with.

My second time at The Place Clubhouse. Both times, the food was very good and very fair pricing. The staff was a bit overworked. However, they continued to be friendly and attentive. The outdoor bar overlooks the pool area, and there is a nice breeze.Well worth a place to have lunch.
