The BBQ shack has been a Fanning Springs staple for years. They have good food and the staff are friendly. Looking forward to when they open the new building currently being built right behind the existing building.

Good enough food but extremely expensive! My neice got a family pack and there was barely any food, $60 plus dollars and when I measured the pork it wasn’t even a half a pound. Please do better.

The wife and I stopped there today after enjoying a nice swim at Heart Springs for her birthday. Amazing food and the lady, we only presumed to be Nana due the sign hung behind the counter, was very sweet and helpful.

The food was delicious. I got the pulled pork. It was moist with a mild flavor and a generous portion. My wife got the grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken was tender and delicious. Great fries. The people were very friendly and the service was quick! Highly recommend it!
An awesome place you have to check out when in town. Really good portions for your buck, awesome freshly prepared food and a plethora of southern favorites - all the way down to the desert, phenomenal. Can't recommend this place enough. A local gem.

Service is exceptional! I'd recommend eating there as by the time we got our food home, (approx. 5ish miles), the bread was soggy. Otherwise, it's good!

I've lived in Old Town for 4 months and have been looking for good chicken wings. I can honestly say I found my spot. I was very impressed with how good the chicken wings and the sauce is. I will be back.

Most stop if your are driving by, the best barbecue I ever had in Florida. Fingertip licking and the corn fritters were amazing 🤩 I was going to barbecue by the springs and decided to just eat here again
