Ate there today food was great! Service and atmosphere was very friendly !! Highly recommend !

Very cool spot. Came after the Gator tour, had fried gator platter, delicious and great coconut cream pie.

Service was excellent, taxidermy were really cool. Would come back.

Went out of our way to try this place today for Sunday Brunch. Arrived around 10:30 am…. Place was about half full and we were seated right away.
We ordered our food and coffee. The coffee came right away - but we waited another 20 minutes with no food ! I decided to ask out waitress and she checked the kitchen , then telling us that they were very busy and our order was only 1 ticket away from being prepared. I was a bit surprised about the “very busy” comment since they were only half full.
Another 5 minutes and the food arrives. I had ordered the eggs Benedict with the fried green tomatoes. I cut into the egg and it was hard like a hard boiled egg ! After a few minutes when our waitress walked by I showed her the egg and said to her …. Aren’t eggs in a Benedict supposed to be runny, or is this the way they are served here ? She said , no - they should be runny, and that does look like a hard boiled egg. I’m sure you must be disappointed, and then she walked away !
I ate the muffin and fried green tomato and left the eggs. Then she brought out check.
I thought it was one of the most blatant expressions of lack of interest in a customer I have seen in any business ! Not even an offer to redo the eggs …. Just a detached attitude that was like … yes you’re right - but too bad. I’m too busy to do anything for you.

I don’t know if this place is always like this. It’s a shame. The place is nice but the kitchen is crazy slow and the staff are completely detached. I was expecting a very nice brunch experience. It was a huge disappointment …. The kind of place I would never go back to.

Frog legs, gator, & more! We also had a burger, catfish, chicken sandwich, and fries. My 3 year old daughter loved walking around the restaurant looking at all the taxidermied animal heads (or full animals). It was also really interesting to see the historical photos as well.

Kid-friendliness: The waitresses smiled along with my baby and small child.

Went here on a visiting family member's request...food is a bit too eclectic for my taste but my group seemed to enjoy it thoroughly.
Thursday nite live, Blue Grass music was ok and added to the experience.
Their website says request reservations two weeks in advance but we called and got in the same afternoon.

I haven't been here for a while. When I used to go here often I would get breakfast and it was always delicious. T.onight I stop by cuz I was in the area and I got a bacon cheeseburger with french fries. It was just okay. It was me and one other table of people the food took a while to come out and the bacon and bun were cold. Not room temperature but actually cold like it came out of the refrigerator. 🤷 My burger was just a burger and definitely no seasoning was added when cooking. The burger was a good size I couldn't finish it so I brought it home for my dog who loved it.

Great gator tail and chicken pot pie. Like home cooking! Server was personable, attentive and very helpful. Restaurant offers a convenient way to pay with your credit card right on your smartphone. Can't wait to go back
