I used to love Bob Evans and had been craving it for awhile. Saying I was disappointed is an understatement. The service was slow but I think it was just because she was overwhelmed. The food was horrible. My wife had a turkey sandwich and the turkey was cold and slimy and had fat edges on the side. It was clearly old. She had to take most of the turkey off. My chicken was very wet on the inside and burnt on the outside so it was obviously it was fried frozen. Some of my carrots were brown and appeared moldy. Definitely one of the worst experiences I've had a restaurant and we were going to try breakfast this weekend but after the meal we said we were done and had no reason to come back.

Never been to a Bob Evan’s before and I really liked it. I loved the turkey dinner. Most places don’t serve this and the ones that do, aren’t that great. The stuffing is so tasty. The fries are really good and crispy too. We had a slice of pumpkin pie, apple pie, and banana bread. All good. Breakfast all day. Clean, friendly staff.

My server was the same person who sat me. First, she sat me at a dirty booth. The seats were covered in crumbs, there was old food, wrappers and crumbs in the wood section of the seat and the floor was filthy. She disappeared. After a while she came back and asked for my drink order. At this time I was ready to order. My food was delivered. Never did she come back to ask how things were. My empty soup bowl sat there when she delivered my sandwich. I was again not asked how the sandwich was. The check was brought out and I was told that I could pay up front. I asked if I could order dessert. I was ignored. Fifteen mintues later I was able to flag her down. I just wanted a piece of apple pie. The pie was delivered and there was a problem. I do not care for hot pie, the caramel that was on it was not listed on the dessert menu and made it way to sweet and I cannot eat whipped cream (so I took that off before I tried the remainder). I could not eat this dessert. Ten minutes later I again had to wave at her to let her know that the dessert was not ok for me. No offer to remake it. She just said so you want me to take it off? Yes, I did. I then went up to the counter to pay. Had to wait several minutes there too. I understand all of these things when a place is slammed. There were exactly 6 cars in the parking lot including mine and 3 tables including mine on the side of the restaurant that I was on. I do eat at Bob Evans all over central Florida. This location is is less that 1 mile from my home. I have not been here is almost 2 years so I thought to give it a try again. Not great.

Bob Evans a favorite since moving to Fl in 2002. That alone says alot! But today, Im giving a shout out about a server. Her name was Linda . The mature woman who knows her job and does it with excellence. She was efficient, friendly and professional. Its a breath of fresh air to be served by an employee who not only knows what their doing but actually enjoys it . Im assuming she is the type a business can count on, not only to show up but gets the job done. That is what I call a linchpin for Bob Evans. Keep up the good work and thank you !
It took them 30 minutes to take my order and the food was unimpressive.

Walked in with 2 people standing in the front, wasn’t greeted by either of them. Waited 5 mins to be seated. Our waitress was nice but did the bare minimum. Food was bland, eggs had no seasoning and the hashbrowns were barely cooked. The biscuits were good but that’s about it. Even the sweet tea was super watery. Pricing was cheap probably the only upside. Definitely won’t waste me time coming back.
