a master class in how to ruin a dinner. We showed up for dinner at 7 PM Wednesday night, ordered a cocktail and an appetizer expecting to enjoy our drinks and then order dinner. We were just getting into it and ordered another round of drinks at approximately 8:00. When our bartender brought our second round of drinks we informed her we would like to order dinner, and she matter of factly informed us that the kitchen just closed at 8:00. I looked at my watch and it was exactly 8:04. Let me get this straight: you happily served us a $20 cocktail and a $15 glass of wine, watched us settle in, and at no point thought to mention, “Hey, maybe get those dinner orders in before the chef vanishes like a ghost” At no point did she warn us the kitchen was closing. No, she just smiled, took our drink order, and let us sit there blissfully unaware that dinner was about to be a mirage. Pro tip: if your staff is going to cut off food service at 8:00 on a Wednesday night, before most people even sit down to eat, maybe mention that? Or better yet, don’t take fresh drink orders minutes before the kitchen shuts down. And certainly don't have your custodial staff switching their wet stinky mop around our feet while we're trying to finish what little we did get. The service was clueless, the management nonexistent, and the entire experience could best be described as “starving with style.” We left with empty stomachs, full glasses, and zero desire to ever return.

Food was THE BEST! Service from Jojo was THE BEST! This restaurant is a gem. You definitely need to try this place. I would say it is the best food in Flagler

Food is absolutely amazing, very flavorful. Jojo, at the bar, is the most awesome bartender I’ve had in a while. She is attentive and makes sure we’re taken care of. She has great energy and we love to see a happy smile behind the bar. 10/10 would recommend going here and getting a drink and entree from Jojo or any of the team member from barnhills.

We are new to the area and have been trying a different restaurant every Sunday for several months now. We tried Barnhills for brunch and absolutely fell in love with the savory crapes! So, we tried it again for lunch and the crab cakes are spectacular! We have not been to any other restaurant twice and will most likely go a third time for dinner before we leave the area. I am so glad they offer different menu items than most all the other costal restaurants!

Came for breakfast, the host is oblivious to what impact a host can have on the experience. The menu has items that aren't offered since the bakery closed. I read the Flagler Beach Pictorial Tourist Guide book, cover to cover, before receiving the water and tea we ordered. The food took another 30 minutes after we ordered. My omelet and home fries were swimming in seasoned butter. And, we are currently at 22 minutes of being held hostage waiting to pay our check. This was not a good experience.

I knew something was up when a Saturday at 6pm the place was empty. The menu was terrible no selection at all. The food was just as bad and don’t get me started on the service. It seems they put a lot of money into the establishment but zero into the menu and service.

Stopped for lunch , everything was excellent, atmosphere, food and service were top notch, this is one of the nicer places to eat with still being casual in Flagler , plan on returning soon !

Food and service were great! Ambiance was very casual and didn’t match menu. Bar area was not terribly inviting- small and Cramped. Sounds silly but menu was plastic covered like a diner and looks al a carte when in fact you do get one side with your entree.
Dessert- banana fosters crepe was amazing!!!
Would definitely go back but expect a much more casual dining experience than we were led to believe it was!!

Nicely decorated restaurant with a good vibe. However the food was not very good. My wife ordered the crab cake and mash potatoes. The crab cake fell to pieces and had absolutely no seasoning, extremely bland. The mash potatoes were mediocre. I ordered the Arroz con Pollo. Once again a bland tasteless dish with cubed chicken and no spices. We had bananas Foster for dessert. It was a big plate of mushy bananas with a soggy crepe. I probably won't return being that there are better places in town to eat.

I really want to love this place because the food is pretty good. We have tried three times and the service was absolutely terrible each time.
