Loved everything! The arroz con pollo and creole sea bass special were SO good, and the key lime pie… yes! Jennifer was such a wonderful server. This was our first time but I can’t wait to come back!

Price, quality, and location make this amazing restaurant a go to for us! Definitely a favorite�

Waited 15 minutes to get our drink order taken as waitstaff walked by us, without acknowledging us. Then they brought the wrong drinks. So we left.

Nice views and ocean breeze from the roof top seating. Tough neighbourhood to find parking. Food was decent as was service.

PROS: We had heard good things and decided to check out Barnhill's. We were not disappointed! We had the flounder and the salmon and both dishes were superb! And don't leave without trying their key lime pie ?
CONS: The waiter was slow and didn't mention any specials. We were halfway through dinner when we heard another server telling her party about the specials.
Overall, I would highly rate Barnhill's for freshness, unique flavor, and quality of the food.

Parking: We were lucky that the public parking spot just in front of thr restaurant was available.

Had an amazing dinner and met the owner tonight who was so nice. Had the potato petals with chorizo as an appetizer and they were so delicious I could have eaten another order. The Rasta pasta was amazing and the crunchy shrimp pasta was delicious. Had no room for dessert but plan to go back for the banana fosters crepe. I am from Manahawkin NJ and can’t wait to come back in January to dine here again. Don’t forget their drinks which are top notch. We were a party of four and the roof top desk is the perfect ambiance. Hats off to the chef

Every meal is creatively crafted. This is a local couple who have worked to create this restaurant for years. They are determined to give you a great dining experience.

This was my second time here. The food was delicious both times! Cooked to perfection. Croquettes, shrimp scampi, sea bass... all very good.

It was a Sunday at dinner time (arrived around 6:30pm) and, although the schedule says they close at 9pm, we were told at around 7:30pm the kitchen was closed for a cooked dessert we had ordered. There were very few diners there.

When I went the first time it was at lunchtime on a Saturday and it was happening. We will definitely return as we enjoyed the ambiance, service, and the food.

Very nice decor and a great layout. You can dine where it’s quiet if you prefer that. The patio is large and equipped with a bar. Was not open on our visit.
The Sangria was very good, the Mojito was average, needed more mint and a bit more muddled and lacked alcohol. A tequila pour was nice.

Very friendly and efficient service from Sarah, the bartender and server for the bar area. Pricing was fair.

Excellent everything, a must go to! Food presentation mixed with amazing taste went hand-n-hand! Atmosphere was very comfortable with partial ocean view. Service was very welcoming and attentive. Owners made table visits to ensure satisfaction, Barnhill's is my families new favorite restaurant!

I can’t say enough great things about this place! The food was outstanding! We had chicken and rice bowl 10/10 the flavors plus presentation ❤️ We had the smash burger one of the best around! The french fries were different cuts and so light and crispy, no grease just perfect. Then we tried the plantain cups again not greasy or too hard just absolutely delicious! The services was great and the atmosphere was nice, very clean.
The owner stopped by to greet us and asked how our meal was. He was so kind and caring! It was that extra touch to an outstanding meal!
I am so glad we tried this restaurant. I had read great reviews but I wish I had tried it sooner!!! Please try trust me you wont be disappointed!!!

I will start with I never give a bad review, never! I'm sorry, but our waiter was clearly in a bad mood and spoke harshly to us! This is never acceptable, never!!! My wife and another couple ate there last night. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were personnel and fun to converse with. The menu had a full array of delicious meals. I enjoyed the scallops while my wife had a steak and the trimmings. Our friends enjoyed salmon and sea bass. All the meals were delicious. And to top it off the pricing was in range.
