5 Stars all around! Very warm and friendly environment with an upscale beachy vibe. Service was top notch and the food divine! Music that I could actually hear for once in a very busy place. We absolutely loved our dinner and recommend ND to everyone. Special mention to our server Aryana. She was awesome! Can't wait to come back very soon. Cheers!

We love Next Door. Food is always amazing and great wait staff. Nice vibe, great portions and great atmosphere. We were a little surprised tonight that 4 tables sat empty for 30 minutes! When I asked how long they hold tables for the hostess was a little abrupt. We had a 40
Minute wait so it seemed unusual for 4 tables to sit empty for a half hour. The food was as usual amazing so that made up for the wait.

First time here, Sunday afternoon, tried the tempura shrimp which was delicious, the best thing we had. Also ordered the ahi tuna salad which was "ok" but not as good as the place next door. We also tried the chicken dish with sausage stuffing but it was overcooked and dry. The steak and fries came out well done even though we ordered it medium but they did redo it for us and it came out better the second time but the filet itself was stringy. The shaved filet sandwich was excellent and the truffle fries were delicious. Lastly we tried their sticky toffee pudding . I'd give it a 3 out of 5. It wasn't bad, just wasn't anything special. The worst thing and the main reason for not giving them 5 stars is that we were constantly fighting off the flies. They were relentless and made me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Not sure if I'll hurry back. Location is great, views of the ocean, but the food could be better. Service was good and very friendly.

We usually come here once a month but I have been disappointed the last couple times. Tonight I requested my steak medium rare and it came medium well. When I mentioned this to the server he just brushed it off and said “I’ll tell them”. I wasn’t asking for him to redo it or take it off the bill , but some acknowledgement of the issue would have been appropriate. My catch of the day was over cooked last time. A little more attention in the kitchen is definitely needed.

This my absolute new favorite restaurant in Volusia/Flagler County!! This was our first time visiting this place and I can tell you I am so pleased to see upscale atmosphere, freshly made cocktails , excellent service and presentation of beautifully crafted food! I had pan seared Cobia fish and my husband had shredded filet mignon sandwich. Both were delicious. Will definitely be back

Apr 2024: Came in for lunch on a Saturday. Got the lobster bisque, but have had better up north. Also got the chicken entree and Cobb salad. Chicken entree was awesome; stuffing had a lot of flavor. Cobb salad was ok. Drinks were good, I got the Paris night and espresso martini.

We love enjoying a meal at Next Door Beach Bistro. It is our "go-to" spot! The food has been consistently great, which is very hard to find. Service is excellent, and you can't beat the ocean view. We will continue to frequent this restaurant!!Parking: Parking can be difficult during popular times. There is no parking lot.
