The Toasted Yolk Cafe

Went for first time with our adult children, they suggested… service was slow, got orders wrong. Food cold. Veterans Day special, of course server forgot discount on check. We were going to just pay but daughter insisted on them correcting it. Ordered coffee and they brought in styrofoam cups because no mugs clean. We asked for mugs but when she brought them out the coffee smelled like bleach or sanitizer. It was just a weird experience took almost 2 hours to get in and get served and out. I will say the banana pepper rings were very good.

Was told it was a 30 min wait to be seated, we waited almost an hour… Then when we got to the table we were told the kitchen was running 30 mins behind… would have been nice to know that ahead of time or else we wouldn’t have waited. Then as we sat for ANOTHER HOUR waiting on our food, we were told we were “next” only for multiple people who got there way after us (and got seated way after us) got their food before us… we were about to leave when our food arrived. Only reason I gave it even two stars instead of one was the food was good (not wait for two hours good though). Waiting 2 hours in a half empty restaurant is insane to me, we won’t be back.

Hubby and I visited on a Saturday morning and was quite pleased with our overall experience. Our ratings are based on comparing toasted yolk to other diners we've visited. Our server Lyanna was amazing. She was attentive, kind and ensured we enjoyed our experience. From opening the door when we arrived to clearing the table and wishing us a fond farewell. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The restraunt was clean, there was low music playing in the background. The food was tasty. We were pleased.

Amanda my server was amazing! It was my first visit and she was incredibly helpful with menu selection and checked on me throughout my visit.The food was delicious too (ENORMOUS omelete). Definitely worth another visit.

This is probably the best brunch spot iv had the pleasure of experiencing! Not only was the service amazing, the food was actually very good as well. I ordered the granola apple French toast and added blueberries for an extra charge but it was so worth it. My husband ordered the west coast Arnold (eggs Benedict). He was skeptical at first because he can’t find eggs Benedict he actually likes, let’s just say the delivered! I will most definitely be back! Thanks Rylie for a great experience!

I keep coming back because the food is so good but everytime I am quickly reminded of the lack of customer service. Today I stood for 7 mins as 3 people put a table together of another group and then 2 employees decided to walk away and the hostess decided to restock the silverware BEFORE seating us. After 7 mins of watching the hostess and the other 2 employees ignore us standing at the door to be seated. I completely understand getting the other table set up. My issue is the lack of any priority afterwards to get the customers seated at their tables. The only way I can enjoy the good food here is ordering to go. I would love to be able to enjoy the restaurant but something has got to be done with the lack of customer service. It’s atrocious and I want to give you my money! Please do some training asap!!! It’s literally everytime.
