German food very good and very authentic! Unlimited soup & salad very filling. New England clam chowder tasty. Portions are GIGANTIC! Pay the $2 to share a plate. Everyone extremely friendly! First time in Floral City. Won't be the last time we come to Old World!

Excellent food! Great service. Schnitzel was delicious. Everything tasted authentic German cuisine. The sirloin was cooked to perfection. Recommend the french fries. We tried both chicken noodle soup and the bean soup. Both were homemade and great. Recommend going here.

Second time here in Aug of 2020. As usual they bring out a HUGE MEAL. Bread, soup, salad and the main entree. Trust me skip the bread or you will never eat the entree. The Kilbasa/Knockwurst with the pork chop is out of this world. You can also have sauerkraut or spietzel? New to me. Great service, wonderful food.

Should have drove to Inverness for better options. Bread (stale), soup and fish were all not good. Service was good.
I had the seafood platter(which the chef, server, and owner couldn't figure out what type of fish was in it) I should have changed my mind then. My wife ordered the smoked pork rib loin. The seafood they said was hand breaded, it was common freezer found items , which was poorly prepared. The pork dish (kasseler-like)was ok at best on flaver but the two chops were very inconsistent, one chop was a door stop shape and the other was ok.The presentation of anything we had was very sloppy. The server was new , as she said so no hope there, she must have been new to serving as well as the restaurant.

Nobody serving had on masks!! Their tea has changed to awful. Salt and pepper on table was a dead give away to uncleanliness. A dishcloth was used to clean multiple tables ,no noticeable spray disinfectant. Ugh! And we love to go there but COVID has changed how we look at restaurants.
