I visited Top Taste Jamaican Restaurant on my way to Key West and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food. The jerk chicken was tender and flavorful, the rice and peas were cooked to perfection, and the plantains were sweet and crispy. The portions were huge and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made me feel welcome with their Jamaican hospitality. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a taste of the Caribbean in Florida City. ???

My wife and I wowed by they local family run Jamaican Food take-out restaurant! We ordered one jerk chicken and one jerk port combo (large), a bread pudding and a chicken soup. Wow and double wow doesn't do it justice! They provided us a couple delicious sacudes to put on the rice and two for the shredded salad. And a couple hot spicy. The portions fed us each for two generous meals. Just DElicious. The bread pudding was outstanding, moist and flavorful. It also made 4 anole dessert servings. Most of all, the excellent personalized service was was so enjoyable and welcome. Just love a family owned place that everyone gets along so well. There is one table with several chairs, for eating in. The place gets crowded at lunchtime. We have eaten in many Jamaican restaurants both stateside and in the island. The food served here is equal to top of the line. Highly recommend it. We travel in a small RV and it's a destination spot when we get close enough to detour and drop by. Its an easy detour traveling north south east or west. About equal to exit one on the Florida turnpike.

A note in the bag of food even - being disrespectful saying “you get what you pay for” - ADVICE FROM BUSINESS OWNER: EDUCATE your clients on how to order and BE NICE rather an a$$hole. Your comment and note was not appreciated, instead you could have HELPED and educated me as to what I should have ordered if I didn’t understand your menu (which is also FALSE ADVERTISING as it reads the meal will come with the sides). CHECK YOUR MENU, and CHECK YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Lost a client who would have continued ordering as I do from other local restaurants for my whole team.

So rare to find good goat meal like this!Also love the vibe here - everyone is so happy and friendly.One can be stopped by the exterior and location (such as my wife), but you gotta go inside and take a bit at something.
