This is our go-to seafood restaurant. I was not going to review our experience until I read a negative one from just a few days ago and thought, "that's just so off." We visited last night, Friday, and started with Thai Shrimp appetizer (5 shrimp) that had just the right amount of sweet/hot flavor. My wife had the Lobster Mac and Cheese appetizer as her entrée because it's HUGE. She enjoyed it very much and said it was cheesy and creamy with plenty of lobster-half of it came home with us! I had a cup of conch chowder that was loaded with conch and had a nice smokey flavor to it. My entrée of Seared Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna, whipped garlic mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented-flower and all. My plate held two large and thick filets accompanied by fresh ginger, ponzu sauce, Wasabi, and Wakame salad, as well as 5 shoots of asparagus. I probably shouldn't admit my plate was totally cleaned, but there you have it.

$24.00 fish sandwich comes out cold and soggy. Took 2 bites. Manager said she can only give 10% off because it was half gone. Not true. Waited almost an hour for food. To many other good places to eat to waste time and money here.

I had heard so many amazing things about things about this place but to be honest it was ok at best. We had was the ribeye in a seafood place. Bang bang shrimp special and conch chowder were good but the rest was heavy, dated, and lacked seasoning. It smelled like cat pee outside too!

Prime rib special, ordered rare. Unfortunately cooked a solid medium. Staff came over a bit after we relayed and offered another rib but 3/4 way through meal. Good flavor. Shrimp scampi missing something...added salt 2x, pepper and parmesean cheese...didn't do much to help. Overpriced.

We had a really lovely meal. My husband and I each had the Swordfish Salad special. It was the most tender, juicy piece of swordfish I have ever had. It was grilled perfectly. It came with a olive and tomato tapanade and a romaine salad that was drizzled with what I believe was a basil cesar dressing. The tapanade had just the right amount of garlic, acid, and olive to complement the fish . The salad dressing was another star in this dish. They are using great olive oil, you can taste the parm and the anchovies. If I closed my eyes the dish could have been from Sicily. Best dish I've had in Fort Pierce.

Anne our server was absolutely amazing! She truly went above and beyond for us. She is the reason we gave this restaurant 5 stars.Their fish is fresh and cooked to perfection. Their sides could be better though. The conch salad is so fresh and tasted amazing and their key lime pie is a MUST!!! We will definitely go back to eat their super fresh seafood but will make sure to select different sides because the mashed potatoes were just okay and the rice tasted like saffron or something overpowering like that. The lemon butter fixed the mashed potatoes for us so that might help if you feel they are somewhat bland.

We have been going to 12A Buoy for years however our meal there this evening has taken our five star review to at the most a 3. We both ordered fish which was good, but our baked potatoes were petrified. Without asking what they could get us instead- they brought us each a cold bowl of mashed potatoes. A drink that was ordered never was delivered. We will think twice about returning. They did admit that they are going through changes with a new chef and kitchen help.

If they are busy be ready to wait over an hour for your food, that is totally understandable as their seafood is fresh and made to order. The seafood always tastes fresh, even unseasoned, the quality has never been an issue w the meat. What is not understandable was our family paying over $180 for the meal for 4 people and our food coming out the way it did after over an hour wait. It was embarrassing when the Sweet Swine is as delicious as it is for the food to come out with an issue on each entree. The burger we got which should’ve been medium rare was well done, we were missing the side of an entree, the shrimp scampi was completely unseasoned and tasted like unsalted butter and unseasoned shrimp which was a waste of good quality shrimp, I know what a good scampi tastes like and this was a complete waste of money for what it was. Bread was hard as a rock as well. BUT - if you come here just for the sweet swine appetizer I wouldn’t be surprised - it is THAT delicious and we have returned time and time again for that specifically. All in all if you can afford to spend that amount of money with the risk of the meal being subpar it’s worth the risk because when it’s good it is great, but we won’t be returning as most of the prices don’t make sense.

Stopped in on a Saturday evening. By the time we arrived they were out of the flounder special but our server gave us some other suggestions. I ordered seafood pasta and was pleasantly surprised the scallops were great. My husband got stuffed shrimp which also was really good. There was about a 30 minute wait to get a table but I felt like the meal was worth it. It's nice to find a spot that knows how to prepare seafood and not just cook it to death! Prices seemed reasonable and they had a pretty good beer selection.

The fish was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, the service was horrible. 2 hours for a midweek business lunch due to an incompetent waitress. Didn't even put our order in for at least 30 minutes. Changed out order and did not explain the cost went up 75%. Tables came and went and we were left wondering where is our food. No communication, no apology, no awareness. No return.

Ate at this place for the first time, I was cautious at first. However, the food was amazing! Service was great. The bill was high but worth it!
