Had a wonderful breakfast today. Country fried steak and eggs with grits for me. Pumpkin pancakes for the wife. All of the food was good and quick. Service was great. The pumpkin pancakes though, amazing. Cream cheese frosting for the top. They are seasonal so don’t wait. Go get them soon. Very worth it. Nice little restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

We went there just to see how this breakfast place is, but it turned out to be a very good place. We had such a delicious breakfast, and an ☕️ excellent expresso after, and the best part was the bill, unbelievable for that amazing service and delicious food. 5 stars are not enough for this place. I have to admit I have been coming to Captain’s Galley since 1986 and I just had the Dolphin Sandwich and it was amazing probably the best I have ever hats off to the chef it’s amazing I’m glad we stopped by today thank you .

I will not be back... I took 3 friends there 2 weeks ago on a Saturday. Yes they were busy but that is no excuse for the service we rec'd. From the hostess( who seemed like she didn't want to be there), the waitress and the servers nothing went right. We had to ask for menus, from the start it was bad. Ordered tea and got coffee, ordered OJ and when it was brought to the table the glass was so full it spilled when the waitress set the glass down. Extra silverware was just dropped on the table. Food finally came and the orders were a mess- ordered rye toast and got white , pancakes - no butter and when we finally got butter it was cold( ever try to spread cold butter on cold pancakes??) All of our food was either luke warm or cold. When it came time to pay ( I paid with cash ) i gave the waitress a 50.00 dollar bill for a 34.00 check. She actually asked me if I wanted change- Seriously??? As if that experience wasn't bad enough the tables were so close together that every time the fellow sitting at the table behind me wanted to get up I actually had to get up from my chair and push it in so he could get out. What a HORRIBL EXPERIENCE... NEVER AGAIN...
My favorite place to eat breakfast. Food is very good and I love to get the bloody mary they have.

Ordered the classic and a spicy bloody mary and I was not disappointed. Staff are friendly and even though the wait was 20 minutes they did not miss a beat once seated. If you're local and haven't been...GO, if you are visiting and want a great breakfast with nice portions...GO!!!
