Update 2026: Still a great place to eat, we had a short wait but quickly received a table and ordered. Our food didn't come out all at once so one of our party had to wait for over five minutes (awkward) an thought I ordered my steak medium well it came out medium rare. The breakfast bowl has changed slightly with the addition of chopped sausage bits and was a bit overdone. The waitress let the manager know and he comped a portion of the meal (Fair enough). Ft. Pierce for New Year's 2026 fireworks show amazing. We did local restaurants support locals. Reviews stated dont do lunch @ Captains galley so we did breakfast. Place was full & there was a wait. Server Katie F., was nice but impatient. One in our party food was incorrect, that happens so ok. The food was not as expected from the ratings we read. The French toast tasted like rancid butter or vegetable oil residue, pancakes were dense, tasteless. Cinnamon bun dough...

Absolutely the best shrimp and grits in Fort Pierce! We were a group of eight and everyone was thrilled with their meal. Allie was an exceptional waitress. I would give her six stars if I could. We will be back!
