Chuck's Seafood Restaurant

This place use to be just ok but it truly has gone downhill, food quality is most likely from Cheney Brothers, of course frozen, nasty cooking grease and then you have horrible service!
The only good thing was the water view

Found it overpriced for the quality of the food. But the service was friendly and the view was good.

I own a timeshare on Hutchinson Island and Chucks has always been a favorite of ours, until now. I was visiting with friends this years and told them about Chucks. Past history always showed they were busy around 5 so we decided to go around 630/7 to sit on the deck. Hours posted for closing were 9pm. We had our dinner which was just OK. Not sure if this is a new chef or what. Food was overpriced but in todays market, you expect that most times. Every restaurant wants to take the dining experience and remove all the joy from it for their cash gain. Anyway, what put us over was that during our dining, they decided to bring in the vacuum cleaner and vacuum the deck all around us , basically letting us know that they were closing. Now this was around 8pm. Posted closing hours 9pm. Next came the removing items from the tables, (but not our dinner dishes), just items off of the tables all around us. Then the final part was they lowered the shades which totally closed off our view!! Now if I had wanted another drink/dessert, anything at all, it was clear that was not an option and we needed to get out. I think this restaurant needs either a new manager that realizes when folks decide where they want to spend their hard earned money, they should be honored their place was chosen. I believe Chucks has taken for granted the customers that have chosen them and I for one most likely will never return after 10 years to doing so. I will find a restaurant that will treat me with respect and appreciate my business.

Hands down the freshest seafood on the Treasure Coast! Every dish tastes like it was just caught & brought straight to your table.

The ambiance is spot on! Relaxed coastal charm with a lively, upbeat energy. The addition of live music makes it the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy a meal, & soak in the local atmosphere. Under Peter’s superior management, everything runs smoothly & feels elevated in the best way.

Absolutely love our local spot & couldn’t be happier to support it. If you haven’t been lately.. RUN. It’s better than ever! 🐠🎶🍷

A little pricey steak dinner 50 bucks each seafood 30 each... but it was delicious... Great atmosphere, on the water... with a bar. The shrimp is yummy. One hundred no drinks 2 meals.... but worth it...

It would be great if they stayed open the hours they advertise. Came a long distance to eat here and closed 30 minutes early. This is why businesses aren't able to stay open. Good luck!

Oct2025 - we’ve eaten at this exceptional restaurant twice in the last couple of day; once with just my wife for fish/shrimp Taco Tuesday and the other time we included our daughter and her two sons visiting from the NE. Both times we ate out on the covered deck; great views of the harbor, bridges and passing boats. The service was great and the seafood was exceptional. Everyone in my family is now a big fan of their Keylime pie; highly recommended.

2024 - Another great seafood meal at Chuck’s Seafood
in Fort Pierce. We were able to eat out on the covered deck area which offers great views of the harbor and boats going by. The restaurants ambience is very warm and inviting. We’ve only ever had great meals there. The waiters and staff are very professional and pleasant. From Sebastian down to Stuart, this is our favorite restaurant. Well done them.

Went here for dinner with a total group of 7 people. There was barely anybody in the restaurant and the service was horrible. Waitress took our app order then our meal order and was nowhere to be seen after that. Somebody else brought our food.
We had to ask for drink refills. Food was mediocre at best. I’ve had way better for way less with way better service. Dry fish. Crab legs were fishy tasting (for $115lb I expected better) Oscar style was some breaded paste on the top of a dry fish filet that was supposed to be stuffed.
Won’t return. Not sure what anybody sees in this place.

Just had the worst meal at Chucks. been coming here for 25 years. only thing good was our waitress

The food was absolutely delicious and fresh, full of flavor. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly from start to finish. The atmosphere was beautiful, especially with the waterfront view, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a place worth visiting again!

All our food was lukewarm and it’s the first time the place was almost empty. It’s been one our favorites for almost 20 years. Waitress was very nice and did a fantastic job. They need a manager checking the food being served for temperature.

I have to confess the place surprised me with my expectations … we stopped here as we were in the area, and I thought of the possibility of the options just to be fried food… but no, we ordered an amazing delicious fish dip, and a mahi salad and beyond … and of course I must recommend it, the service was great a d the staff was helpful and friendly … I even met the owner on my way out and he was very kind and sweet!

The restaurant itself is great, my experience today was a tad disappointing due to the lack of service during the slowest month of the year. Could’t help but observe my fiancé and I were our servers only table, after some time, she was sat with a 2 top. Also couldn’t help but notice the server’s table on the patio and our server, was handing out what looked to be captain fritters to the tables as complimentary, before these tables sat we had ordered the same appitizer and was charged for it. No big deal just unsure if it’s meant to be “for the table” seeing as our 2 neighbors got it as they were greeted. It’s advertised multiple times for happy hour and “2 for 1 drinks” but sadly we were both charged normal price for our HOUSE wine and coors light bottles. If so, it was not advertised or suggested that “domestic” products are consider “happy hour”. The food and ambiance was nice, especially with it being so slow but expected better service. She still received 30% tip from us. Please ensure your staff to charge for prices if being advertised otherwise.
