Unfortunately this place comes off like a tourist trap. We each had an omelet, a side and toast plus iced tea. The portions were unusually small for a diner, the quality was just so, so. Barely any ham in my Denver omelet which was very small. Smallest portion of home fries I’ve ever had at a diner and the toast was Wonder bread. Despite the small portions and cheap ingredients the bill for two was over $60 with tip. I wonder if the problem is lack of competition. I don’t know but I do know that I don’t plan to go back after feeling tourist trapped and kind of ripped off.The service was polite, friendly and efficient. No suggestions for improvement in to at area.

My friend and i ate here one morning for breakfast and it was pretty disappointing. I ordered a bowl of grits which came out in a ramekin with barely a scoop in it. Ordered bacon which would be nice to let people know it’s sweet bacon. My friend ordered a BLT that came with chips which came from the bottom of the bag all crushed up I don’t even think there was an intact chip. The staff was very nice and the food came out fast.

Customers are really treated like family here. It's a great classic, quality diner. They're hard to find these days. I'd rather eat here than McDonald's any day.

It’s been a few years since I went in it was the cleanest I’ve seen the place in a very long time. The food was the same recipe as before just cleaner. lol I found out it’s under new management and they are only open from 6am to 1pm no longer 24hr. Man a lot of memories eating in there! I would suggest opening at 4am or at least 5am this time of the year a lot of fishermen grab lunch and breakfast on their way out.

A classic dinner breakfast! Quick service, friendly staff, and good food. It's a small place so it can get crowded.

After 3 times of trying Dave's, I just have to say, it's the WORST breakfast you can possibly have in Fort Pierce. Stale, old cheap bread thats over toasted, extra greasy for no reason, bland food, burnt undercooked hashbrowns, undercooked eggs, unappealing presentation, way over priced, and slow, less than mediocre service with no enthusiasm. This experience has been conisistent on all 3 of my visits for the last 2 years. I dont understand how so many people have given this place such good reviews. Its even worse now since they changed owners. A true disappointment because its a block from my house.
