Tried the crabby fries and that was good with the IPF Burger - 1st issue was the ribs came cool and when we asked the waitress, she said they smoke it and serve the ribs at room temperature :(. Def. Dont recommend the ribs as there were not tender. Chk sandwich was good and the market seafood platter was just ok. Will not return. - Reviews Reply from owner—> Per your response, that is what your waitress served and the explanation that was given to my family. No thank you, I don’t need you to pay for my ribs. Our military family and friends will not be back. A semi-cool rib served and forgetting to bring my sons plate out was enough for a bad experience. Hope no other family experiences this. We paid our bill in full and we did not ask for a discount even after my sons plate was brought after we finished eating the sandwiches.

This review is based on two experiences. Our first time we had to try the burger. It was great, and the fries were amazing, perfectly seasoned and crispy. Fries were really good. My wife had a bbq pork platter and we just noticed the smoke flavor seemed odd. I smoke a lot of meats at home and never had a flavor like this. The second time we came in, I wanted to try your the Smoked Fried Chicken Sandwich, and experienced the same thing.... an odd smokey flavor. Ignoring that flavor (hard to do) the sandwich was executed perfectly. My wife had the shrimp platter, and enjoyed it. I have three smokers and BBQ a lot, and again, I've never tasted any smoked meat like this. I enjoy some smokey meats, but something seems off. My theory is that they use liquid smoke or maybe mesquite, or some other extra strong smoke flavor. I would tone-down whatever you do here, maybe use hickory, and I think I would give your place a 4-5 star rating. I hope this feedback helps, I'll come back for the burger and your non-smoked dishes.

Island Pig & Fish catered our daughter's wedding two weeks ago for 80 guests. We are still talking about how delicious the food was!! Everyone loved it!! Thanks to Dena and Taylor for being so helpful with the planning to make sure we had more than enough food for everyone. The food was spot on, flavor, quality and quantity could not have been better. Brisket, smoked turkey, baked beans, mac & cheese and don't forget the cornbread! The food & service from Island Pig & Fish helped make our event a huge success! Heard good things and was hopeful of a new place to go to but was completely underwhelmed by the menu and the food itself was not good enough for me to consider returning. Not good BBQ. Another person at the table had burnt fried chicken. People who ate seafood seemed to like it better but still were not impressed.

The pork sandwich and the burger were awesome. The onion jam was great! The fries were good even if they weren’t fresh cut. Would definitely go again if there weren’t so many other choices for a 3 day trip.

My wife and I were looking for a fun place to eat down in Fort Pierce one evening.We stumbled onto this little gem and had a wonderful time. Granted, we only had the pork or the “pig” section of the menu, so we did not have the fish.The food was fantastic.It’s a casual dining environment and appears to be pretty family-friendly. You sit right across the road from the inlet, so the view is decent as well.
