This place is a must try for soul food. From the chips they provide while waiting for your food to the ribs to the fried okra, fried green tomatoes, and the Mac and cheese! All were so delicious! The only thing I would say is the candied yams were a bit too sweet for my liking, but my sister loved it. The service was friendly and welcoming. Prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Big yes on this place. Fried chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. Fixins are important to me - Greens, black eyed peas, and Mac n cheese were all on point and would absolutely recommend. I'd pass on having the potato salad again because it's on the sweet side, which isn't how I like it. Catfish was a bit salty, but good. Had the brownie to satisfy the sweet tooth after...a bit crumbly, but very moist and delicious. I'll be going back for sure!

I live in Miami and was up here for work.
You will not get food that tastes this great and the people that work here are so nice.
If I could give more than 5 stars ,I would.
