For the area of fort pierce, this is the cuban food place to go. I am colombian and at Mervis I have always enjoy the best cup of coffe with a delicious tripleta. The menu is very original and when my cooworkers need that extra afternoon push.. the colada fix all of that.

My family and I visited some family members that lived in Fort Pierce during Christmas week; and heard this restaurant was good and a must restaurant to eat at. We’re from Michigan and we would always go to this restaurant when visiting relatives. My favorite dish to eat is the Fried Yuca and the Black Beans with Chorizo, Rice and sweet plantains. So delicious! My husband got the Cuban sandwich and my daughter got her salad. See pictures.I would recommend eating at this place if you want some good Cuban dishes. We’ll definitely visit the restaurant again in the future!Vegetarian options: Fried Yuca and sweet plantain are delicious. You must try it. I think it’s a great vegetarian appetizer. My daughter enjoys their salad, but of course you can get it without the meat. Check their menu for more options.

Stopped in today with friends for breakfastOrdered the traditional American breakfast. 2 eggs sausage home fries and white toast.It was cooked perfectly. The restaurant is VERY clean. The employees were super nice. You can tell they’ve been doing this for a long timeThere a post office literally next to the cafe inside if you have to mail anything while you are there.
This establishment is owned by the most unprofessional owner I've ever encountered. DISCRIMINATION!!!!!!!!! at hits high! Awful customer service with all staff. After their mistakes with their food, they do not take accountability or care to fix the issues and then the audacity to call the paying customer a LIAR ...after i found a roach in my pastry. The manager couldn't even admit to their mistake because they are embarrassed and trying to save their business. Ive never seen an owner sweat that much just off of speaking with me. IS it because you were that nervous that you guys lied. Filthy establish as well as attitudes there. I DO NOT CARE TO HAVE ROACHES IN MY FOOD EATING AT MERVIS CAFE AND I HAVE THE RIGHT TO FEEL THAT WAY AND SHARE IT! They did not like that I spoke up about the issue and refused me from using other public services the post office. SO I WILL CONTINUE TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE AND HOPES THAT NO ONE HAS TO EXPERIENCE THE SAME TREATMENT. The owner responded back saying this is Defamation on their business, but how is it defamation when I know I found a roach . The fact is yes things happen and it may be expected with these restaurants to have a bug or 2 , but it’s up to the restaurant to handle the situation and rectify the problem, not make excuses or lie about it, I mean look at your own reviews Mr owner and see every low star review your business has. And then let’s see who’s lying

I'm very disappointed in the way I was treated by the lady and her daughter. I went to ask if they did copies. I was there the day before. When the mother saw me back there she whispered to her daughter. Then her daughter waited on me in a hushed manner.DIDN'T like the experience.
