I grew up in Gainesville four miles from the original Sunny’s Bar b que , but I can honestly say the sliced pork at Moonswiners is the best pork I’ve ever had . Try the super pork combo you won’t be disappointed!
Service is quick but apathetic. Environment is overwhelming - perhaps look at the menu ahead of time and scope out what you’d want. Mediocre BBQ, there’s much better out there. Ribs were mostly cartilaginous. Ordered a sampler and it would be sufficient for a toddler. Had to go get more food elsewhere after spending about $15.
I have been eating here for so many years, My sister worked there for over 19 years, before it was Moonswiners She made the best coleslaw ever she would be the only one to make it, Good is still amazing, I will never get tired of the super beef sandwich sweet sauce with slaw and onion chips French dressing and that sweet tea is a must, idk who could complain about their food cause its always on point, I mean no place is perfect at all..
