My first time visiting, I was welcomed like family❣️ I stopped in for a to-go plate. These ladies and the cooks really are amazing!! I purchased the smothered pork chop, collard greens, and homemade baked Mac and cheese. It was a great size portion and I was able to snack on it through out the day. I got the oxtail, and it was pretty good. My only complaint was that there was a lot of fat on the bones other than that, the rice and oxtail were tasty. The mac & cheese and green beans were also good. Lastly, the baked beans. I don't know the spice that was used, but you could definitely taste it. Even still, the beans were good. I enjoyed my meal and would love to go back to try more meals.
Just had a wonderful dinner at Nunu's. We had Chicken Wings, BBQ Ribs, and Chitlins. The owner made us four different wonderful frozen drinks (we all tasted them). They were all wonderful tasting. The sides we had included Fries, Collard Greens, Mac 'n Cheese (best I've ever had), Cornbread Muffins, and Fried Okra. All of the food was very tasty. The service just couldn't have been better. We drove 30 miles to get there, and we will definitely be back!
