Oxtail meal was great! Great portions, good flavor, good texture. The lemon pepper turkey wings were not good....weird flavor profile. I'd just order them without the wetness....maybe just the seasoning.
I stopped in around lunch after seeing the "Best Soul Food in Town" sign. I ended up ordering the catfish with collard greens and fried okra, and I can tell you the sign was not wrong! First, the catfish was perfectly breaded and fried, but was not oily at all. The catfish fillet was thick, fresh, and flaky. I never had catfish that even came close to being this amazing!
