Used to be the best place in town. Quality has stooped and prices skyrocketed. Does not taste the same, upwards of $40 for 2 meals

My most favorite Chinese restaurant ever! I’ve been coming here since I was little and the food and service has always remained amazing and consistent. Been coming over 35 years!!!

Fried rice had no bean sprouts in it or egg like New York style and was pasty
The general tso was all flour puffed up to look big but you need glasses to see the chicken

Anyone who gave this place a top rating never ate in a quality New York Chinese restaurant.

Unfortunately I had to edit my original review of 5 stars to 1.
The ownership has changed, the food quality went way down, and the prices have gone up. This restaurant is no longer our preferred place to eat after many many years.
So sad to see this one go to ??.

We were super excited to try this place but were sadly disappointed by how subpar and “Americanized” it was. Everything they have seems to be heavily fried or overly sweet. It’s heavy food. When we asked for hot tea they bring only one cup. Not the ideal place for family style dining. It’s like their caters to the older crowd who want the combination dinners. If you’re looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant, this ain’t it.

Food is nasty, I order shrimp on lobster sauce plate, and the viscosity of the sauce looks like puke. The smell of burn oil on it was awful. They replaced my dish with a one with shrimp and vegetables, and they used the same shrimp from the first plate!! I paid and walked out.
