Peking Chinese Restaurant

My family will no longer visit this establishment.
We have been go there for years.
On our most recent visit we placed an order and when it came out it was the wrong dish.
After letting them know it just went down from there. Our waitress was talked to privately in the kitchen and then the manger proceeded to tell her she was going to have to pay for the 2 meals that were wrong. 19.50 a piece are what the meals cost! $40!
Our waitress didn't even put our order in she told another waitress and she put the order in the kitchen. She left shortly after and our poor waitress has to foot the bill.
What bullshit. I will never step foot in there again. Do better

I’m sorry to say I was disappointed in that. I ordered hot and spicy soup I got wonton. I ordered homemade mustard didn’t get any. I’m wondering if I was given the wrong Water sorry but it is what it is.

Been going to Peking for 25 yrs. Food has always been good. Restaurant can definitely use a remodel. Carpet is old, floor is sinking in some spots. I went with a group of 9 last Sat. I ordered egg drop soup, scallops and vegetable combo. Soup was very good. I got 6 scallops. I tried cutting a scallop with my fork, couldn't cut it. Even with a knife it was tough. I tried 1/2 a scallop. It tasted funny, a chemical taste. The vegetables were tasteless. I tried the other 1/2 scallop, tasted funny. Someone else at the table got the trio, which was lobster, shrimp and scallops. Their scallops tasted funny. I did not eat any of the other scallops. I told the waitress. She brought my plate to the kitchen. Came back and said she can give me a 50% discount. I expected more, at least an offer to have a different meal made. I get my bill, it was a 30% discount. The owner apparently changed his mind. Waitress said they served a lot of scallops that day and no one else complained. I said, if I had known I was only getting a 30% discount, I would have kept my meal and eaten the vegetables. She goes back to the kitchen and comes back with my food in a to-go container and very hot. Why was it hot? Were they getting ready to serve it to someone else? I thought no way in hell am I eating any of this now. All other meals, non scallops meals were good. It will be a long time before I go back. My leftover went directly into the garbage when I got home. I was very disappointed.

First time dining here after living in the area for 10 years. What a treat!
Jasmine, our waitress, was superb in every way; cheerful, efficient and attentive.
Our combination dinners (chicken w/almonds and vegetables, shrimp with vegetables) included soup, egg roll, entree and ice cream. Food was hot, seasoned just right and portions were huge.
It’s a neighborhood establishment that welcomes its guests. Highly suggest trying it out.

It's okay, the fried rice for lunch tasted from the day before, my pepper taste looked terrible, but my husband's honey chicken was good. I guess it depends on what you get. Service was good she was very nice. Restaurant is very old.
