Pelican Yacht Club is a gorgeous venue for a special event. I directed a wedding and reception at the club and was extremely pleased with everything. Christina, Fallon, and all of the staff are professional, caring, attentive, and accommodating. The event staff made sure we had everything we needed throughout the day and night. The food was amazing. I am honored to recommend Pelican Yacht Club to anyone looking for a first-class event location.

So I am a new fiancé. Even before getting engaged I HAD the Pelican Yacht Club at the top of my list as a possible venue. I had the pleasure of attending multiple events in the past and was quite impressed with the space. I emailed. I called every day for a week. Week two I finally spoke to a woman two days in a row who stated someone would call me back. Never received a call back. Called again and spoke to a gentleman who placed me on hold for 15 mins. No one came back to the phone. I should've stopped contacting them a long time ago but I am just a new fiancé excited to be planning her wedding. After reviewing previous reviews I have a good idea as to why I was responded to this way. I am quite disappointed but not surprised, unfortunately.

I applied to this job the morning. Got a call about 10 minutes ago and I guess whoever called me noticed I am a BLACK woman (not because I speak ignorant but we have a distinct tone). I answered the phone and whoever called me was so unprofessional that they didn’t utter a single word. I called back over 10 times and pressed different options to get answers. The few answers I did get said they had no idea and kept transferring me to the “clubhouse” where you get 0 ANSWER. The person who called me did not even try to call again. I gave it time and when no one uttered a word I assume it’s scam and hang up politely and tried my return calls. This is a very distasteful first impression for a place of its kind. I came here to leave this review and see that there are so many reviews about RACISM and unfair treatment. I’m GLAD whoever was unprofessional as such helped me dodge a bullet.

Asked about a slip for a few months the guy said sorry nothing long term then hangs up the phone Correct me if I’m wrong but a few months isn’t long term Guess I’ll take my money somewhere else Yea and how about fixing the broken dock by the boat ramp and the fence since you have plenty of money and mine isn’t good enough
We have eaten at the pelican yacht club several times. We have never been disappointed by the food the service for the ambience. It is truly a pleasure to spend time there and look out over the inlet at Fort Pierce.

This is a private club. The staff there are very friendly and work together to cater to their members. There is someone on this forum giving a false review. They are using there personal issues to bash employees at this establishment. Nobody employed there is racist . Please leave real reviews on this forum.

My mother and I had a very nice Sunday brunch.
We have eaten at the pelican yacht club several times. We have never been disappointed by the food the service for the ambience. It is truly a pleasure to spend time there and look out over the inlet at Fort Pierce.
