Visited this place years ago and then again today. The resturant is looking run down and lacking leadership. They we out of many types of standard liquiors like Crown Royal, Kalua and several others. There we items listed on the small menu that they didn't even have. They charge a 18% hospitally charge that none of that is going to the servers. This is another exsample of a owner with the funds to open a resturant but not the needed knowledge to run are care for a sucessful one. Great location and neighborhood ,and could be a gold mine location.

Came here for Martini Monday and was underwhelmed. Our bartender was very attentive and had a desire to please us. My first order was a dirty gin martini and my friends has a lemon drop martini and an expresso martini with a splash of Bailey's. I tried to order a chocolate martini but they were out of vanilla vodka. I asked for another dirty martini and they had no olive juice. They also didn't have peanut butter whiskey or Captain Morgan. My guess is the distributors are not delivering anything without upfront payment. I do not anticipate Pickled being around much longer which is super sad since this is where I signed my marriage certificate. 😭

Wow that was bad. Lousy food, ok service, and apparently an 18% charge up out of nowhere, that I was told doesn’t go to the waitress. Small sign on table that apparently I was suppose to read. I am used to the price on menu is what I pay. So $18 plus 18% for 3 dinky sausages and 3 pieces of wonder bread dipped in egg. How do they survive?

Food was very good, band was very good. Server was very good. Prices were fair BUT....recommending a minimum of 18% tip on top of the 18% already automatically added to the bill is shady. Not cool. Either the tip is included or it should be up to the client. Trying to get patrons to pay double....or 36% on the bill is not cool.

We tried to go today and the female blond bartender with glasses (obviously not Harmony or Sheila) couldn't be bothered to wait on us. She just stared at her phone, didn't even look up. The two employees in the back just looked at us. Said nor did anything. No other customers around. I see why it was empty. Horrible customer service. Very Disappointed! Happy Hour still shows 11:00am. Its not. Make sure they give you the right price.

Very Cool looking Spot. Food was just ok. Our biggest problem came at the end. We were well aware of the 18% automatic gratuity added to bill to pay higher wages and provide healthcare. What we didn’t appreciate was our waitress advising us she got none of that and expected us to tip another 20% for her. I added another 7% as I would any other restaurant that does this. Staff should not be telling guests they get none of that money!

Gave Pickled another try since giving up on them last year but sad to report, they have gotten no better. They were out of grapefruit martinis, salmon crostinis, and tuna stacks, and served the martinis in water glasses, 50 minutes after being seated. Had two mediocre appetizers, which came out 5 minutes before the drinks. Won’t be back anytime soon.

We stopped in for dinner before a comedy show at the Sunrise Theater on Saturday night. 5 of our party of 7 were seated at 5:40pm, and menus were already on the table. We ordered mixed drinks and the pickle board as an appetizer.
Our server brought one drink at a time from the bar, and spilled half of the martini on the floor before arriving at our table. A draft beer was served without being asked about draft or bottle, and the other guests got half glasses of warm water while we waited.
The pickle boards were nice, nothing spectacular. There was not enough bread provided for the toppings, so we asked for more and also asked if we could order food. Our server seemed very overwhelmed and stated that she had to put the bread order in and would be back. She did not take our order like we requested.
The other 2 in our party arrived and looked over the menu while we waited. Our server came back to the table with burned bread and a smoked old fashioned with a broken smoker that didn’t work.
We asked again if we could order entrees, and get the check as soon as the food arrived. She stated again that she had to get parts of another order and would be back.
At this point, it was around 6:15 and we were finally asked what we wanted to order.
I attempted to order the filet, and was told after sitting with the menu for a half hour, that they were out of that. Another one of us ordered the poke bowl, and was told they were out of that too. We adjusted our orders and decided on the chicken Mac, pork belly, and fish and chips.
While we were waiting on our food, a large table behind us stood up to leave without being served. They stated they were told they would have a 20 minute wait for their food, and after 20 minutes, they were updated with their server stating that the kitchen hadn’t even started cooking it.
We asked our server to check on our orders and bring drink refills, since we had an 8:00 show to go to.
We were not served refills, so we took carafes of ice water from the tables of the party that left.
After another 15 minute wait with her not returning (at this point it was 7:15) we decided to pay for our appetizers and drinks and cancel our food order. One of our party approached her on the way to the restroom and asked for our checks without the food, since she hadn’t come back to check on the table.
Only when we placed cash on the table and started gathering our things, did she come to deliver the checks.
Our checks included an 18% gratuity (which we were not told of at all) and no one came to remedy or even ask about the issues we had.
It wasn’t even busy for a Saturday night; the large party behind us arrived after we did. When we got there, there were only a handful of small tables sat, and maybe five people at the bar.
For a weekend with the largest comedy night in town AND the NFL playoffs (which were not on the bar tv until someone asked for it), the lack of service cost this place a ton of money.
I will not be back, and I will let everyone know how bad my experience was. It was absolutely unacceptable.

Restaurantji Recommends
New management is a joke . They only care about your money. They do not care about their service . This would be a great place for you ,if you want to sit in a quiet empty room and wait 40mins+ for an overpriced burger. Would highly not recommend coming here . Please save your time . Was a great place until new management came …
Tried a new spot for date night and it did not disappoint. 🍽️
I’m a sucker for fried green tomatoes and my husband loves anything bourbon-forward, so this place felt like a perfect match for us.
We sampled four appetizers, and the queso and fried green tomatoes were clear standouts—flavorful, comforting, and done just right. For drinks, we had the chocolate peanut butter bourbon and the lemongrass mule, and both were absolutely excellent and well balanced.
The live music played on a saxophone was a great touch and really set the mood. One of our favorite moments was watching five retired couples dancing and genuinely enjoying the music—it added so much charm and made the whole experience feel special and joyful.
Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere—definitely a place we’d return to for another date night. 🥂

I love the $10 lunch menu for lunch Mondays through Friday until 3:00. I love that Mondays and Wednesdays they have affordable and cheap appetizers and I love that happy hour is 7 days a week until 6:00 ❤️
This used to be my favorite Friday night place to be. Great vibe. Live music. Good food good drinks.
Tonight was shocking. The vibe was bad. The place wasn't crowded and as the longer I sat there the longer I realized why.
I asked for a Pellegrino and the menu. Show me the Pellegrino never came with the menu find me someone next to me gave me the menu the bartender keep going back and forth back and forth finally I said when you get a chance I'd like to order he said sure and never came back. When I looked around I was simply was so disappointed it used to be just such a classy fun place to hang out.
I would not recommend this place now.
