Let me preface this review by saying I have never once in my life left a review and I work as a bartender and am always kind to restaurant employees (even when they aren’t) and leave at least a 20% tip wherever I go. I have lived in fort pierce all my life and gone to sailfish very frequently. Recently they started serving liquor and hired new faces. I went today and decided to try one of the cocktails. I wasn’t a fan of it and normally never return stuff but today I decided I didn’t really want to drink something I didn’t like. I very kindly apologized and asked if I could have a different drink, just a classic cocktail that most everyone makes. They uneagerly said yes and told me they would bring it over. When they brought it over she told me they didn’t have the ingredients for the drink, if it was me bartending I would’ve just told the customer I couldn’t make it. Regardless, it wasn’t good and I really didn’t want to return it because I left bad but my boyfriend took it up and got me a seltzer. When I cashed us out his card was on file so I didn’t see the bill. After it seemed a little high I looked at the itemized receipt and saw they charged me for the original drink. I word for word said “excuse me did yall mean to charge me for that cocktail” very politely. The girl bartender said uh let me ask and came back over and said well yeah we made it so. Never once in my 5 years of bartending have I charged someone for a drink they didn’t drink or like I find that extremely odd but again it’s not in my nature to be confrontational but I was so mad I crossed my tip out. My boyfriend went back in and got his money back from the drink and we still after that left $10 on a $50 tab. The past 2 times I have been here since they hired new people have been really bad service as well. Very slow and inattentive and the most recent before this I waited very long for my food and they brought out a completely different pizza than what I had ordered. Again maybe I just have a different view on service but I would’ve given someone a discount or something if I got their order totally wrong. They did not which was whatever I still tipped 20% and didn’t leave a review even though the service was really bad. But after this last time I was just fed up. Super upsetting overall as a person who has anxiety and feels so bad about sending drinks or food back and usually never does, people like you are the reason I don’t. All I have to say is I would never treat one of my guests that way.

The posted closing time on Sundays is 7 and we arrived around 5:30 and were immediately met with unwelcoming glares from the bartenders, particularly a woman with short hair. We had no idea what the issue was. When I went to order, the staff glanced at me but deliberately ignored me. Eventually, the woman with short hair looked at her watch, then at me, and finally walked over, saying, “We close at 6 tonight.” No greeting, no explanation—just a curt statement. I placed my order, and a short while later, Once again, we were ignored until the same bartender approached, passive-aggressively checking her watch before asking what we wanted. We asked for an ice cream sandwich to go, but before i could even finish my sentence, the bartender cut us off, saying, “Guys, the kitchen is closed. No food.”. On a night when they were closing an hour early without any posted notice, they couldn’t put an ice cream sandwich in a to go box? A simple, “Hi! Sorry for the inconvenience, but we’re closing early tonight,” would have made all the difference. Instead, the attitude was dismissive and rude. Beyond the poor customer service, it’s just strange for a brewery to close at 6 PM on a Sunday. The experience was unprofessional and I hope management addresses these issues moving forward.

I had the pleasure of serving your beers last night at Clover Park during a Met spring training game. The fans loved your beer and I’m so happy I got to serve it. A plus was I also got to meet the owner of sailfish and his crew and they were so nice. I was referring everybody to go to your brewery.

Very good selection of beers. Also they have just added a limited number of cocktails. Nice food menu. Outdoor seating is covered and dog friendly.

Awesome spread of beer selections and the staff are great
Terrible service. They had 4 workers behind the bar talking to each other, but not helping the people in line. My wife stood in line in front of the bar behind another gentleman who was paying his bill. After he was finished, the women just ignored her ang kept talking. My wife then went to another area of the bar to pay. A guy that saw my wife had been in line for a while said hey I'm sorry you were waiting a long time before me and the girl behind the bar said don't worry about it and kept helping him. There was a girl in a black hat that was turned backwards talking to people at the bar the whole time. She was doing nothing but talking and saying she was from Port aransas. She looked at my wife standing in line numerous times but never once said excuse me can I help you, or we'll be right with you, nothing. Then someone she must've known walked up and she sebed the a beer AND took their money?! I have never seen staff ignore someone so hard that was just trying to pay their bill. You could tell they have regulars and they were way more interested in them than us. We ordered wings and fries and they were average. We would not return.
