This place is a great find! Me and some of my coworkers stopped here for dinner and were super happy we did!
The gentleman behind the counter went out of his way to give us a full service experience!
Bringing us samples of horchata, house made bread and tortillas, and some very great salsa! (Woo it is hot though! So heed the warning lol)
We all ordered tacos that were great and super flavorful. And I got a Sonora dog which might have been one of the best hot dogs I’ve ever had!
If you’re in the area, make it a point to stop.
Next time I travel through the area I’ll definitely be dining again!

A little place that’s big on flavor! Sonora Eats is a family-owned storefront restaurant, very small (it seats about 20 people in all), but the food is tasty and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I am a vegetarian, and they made veggie tacos for me, even though they are not on the menu. My wife had the carne asada and the fish tacos, and loved them both (especially the fish). A perfect place to stop and support a family-run business.

Although the tortillas are a little too thin everything tasted amazing. Got some birria tacos and fries. Decent price, good taste and nice place.

Establishment is clean and service friendly and informative. Food presentation is basic however authentic in flavor. I selected 2 tacos, 1 Sonora steak and 1 fish/shrimp taco. My daughter chose 2 Barbacoa tacos and 1 Sonora taco. I enjoyed the Sonora taco immensely, however the fish/shrimp taco was underwhelming. I tasted mainly mayo in the fish, and lacked texture and acidity elements such as cabbage and vinegar. My daughter enjoyed all of her 3 tacos but preferred the Barbacoa tacos which came with a generous consome sauce she used for dipping. The drinks were made fresh and delicious-- Horchata as well as the fresh beet juice. The side chips and fresh guacamole was also enjoyed. The homemade tortillas were beautifully made thin just like we enjoy them -- LOVED the tortillas. I just wish they would use 2 tortillas per taco in case the 1 breaks the other holds the filling together better. Price reasonable. Yes, I would return.

Sonora Eats has excellent food and the owner was extremely generous and welcoming!
The homemade tortillas alone are worth the stop — warm, fresh, and clearly made with care. The barbacoa tacos, Sonora dog, and ultra creamy horchata were the stand out dishes for us.
5 stars and more deserved!

I recently discovered Sonora Eats in Fort Pierce, and I have to say, it was an amazing find. Their tortillas are incredibly authentic and the best flour tortilla I had east of Mississippi.-they make them just like the ones I used to get back in phoenix, El Paso, and southern California. and their steak tacos were absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a genuine and delicious northern Mexican food experience in the area, I definitely recommend giving them a visit!

Was greeted by a young man with a warm and welcoming smile and attitude. Looked over the menu, asked a few questions and placed an order to go for the carne asada tacos. They were great! I was a little thrown off by the cucumber taste on the tacos however next time because there will be a next time we come back and get more taco's and to try other items, I'll ask for the cucumber on the side.

Delicious authentic Mexican tacos and burritos. I loved the chicken and shredded beef. Guac made on the spot was fantastic too. Do try it.

Restaurantji Recommends
Well for starters they don’t serve rice at all. The burritos are filled with refried beans and I love beans but it’s ridiculous. The quesadillas were not truly quesadillas. The prices are decent though
