I made the mistake of thinking the food would be delicious just like the Mofongo restaurant down in little Havana, Miami 😩 even with the added sauces the Mofongo was so dry I almost choked. The next time I want Mofongo I’ll drive down south. The difference in the restaurants are like night and day. The chicken was tough so I gave it to the dogs. One dog ate it the other looked at me with a crazy look 😂

Traveled 1.5 hour just to taste their Mofongo and it did not disappoint. The Mofongo was cooked to perfection with great flavor. The meat, pork, and seafood were just right. The place is very welcoming and their staff provided great service. Will definitely return.

I’ve never been the type to complain about a restaurant, especially since I’ve worked in the food industry myself. I was really excited to try this place because it’s hard to find good Puerto Rican food around here. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The rice was hard at first, and although they brought out another serving of Arroz Con Gandules, it still didn’t have much flavor. The steak also lacked seasoning. As someone who grew up in a Puerto Rican household, I was really hoping for that authentic flavor, but it just didn’t hit the mark for me. On a positive note, the servers were very sweet, and the restaurant itself was really nice.

My first time here. I did take-out. It was a very welcoming and clean atmosphere. The food was delicious and generous in portion size. I ordered yuca fries, mofongo with carne frita. And to top it off, flan de queso. I will be back to try the pernil, and tres leches cake. Thank you!

Mofongo King Review
I had an excellent experience at Mofongo King! Even though the place was full, our waitress Estefania was extremely attentive the entire time. The food came out hot and perfectly timed, and everything tasted amazing. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and friendly service. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

Best Puerto Rican food I’ve had since I left the island two years ago! The Mofongo and Trifongo were simply PERFECT, with one of the best carne fritas and chicken breast a la criolla we’ve had! The arroz con habichuela was as perfect as you can imagine!
Unfortunately, it is far from our home in Miami, but it is now a mandatory stop for us, both ways, every time we drive up to Orlando! In our experience, better than any Puerto Rican restaurant in Orlando and Miami.
Service was great and the Piña Colada along with the beautiful decorations transported us back to our island! 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
