I stopped in for dinner after a day trip to Ft. Pierce. Built in 1990 the Tiki Bar is at the Fort Pierce City Marina and it overlooks the Indian River. There is a ton of free parking which I really appreciated. The restaurant was expanded in 1998 and now it can seat 200 people. Live music is offered on the weekends. The main dining room has a thatched roof and Polynesian decor is everywhere. At the back of the restaurant you can purchase tickets for boat trips on the Indian River. I was dining alone so I opted to sit at the bar. I arrived during happy hour when they offer $5 beer specials. Since I was in a tropical paradise I went with a $6 pií±a colada that was drowning in rum. For dinner I had an extremely crunchy crab cake sandwich ($17) that came with fries. As I sipped and nibbled Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville came on making everything perfect. I could have stayed all evening sipping drinks and enjoying the view but I had a 2 hour drive ahead of me and work the next day. This restaurant is a favorite with the locals but it doesn't look like it will be here much longer. The city opted to not renew their lease and it will be torn down and a large restaurant called Crabby's Dockside put in it's place. The people I spoke to were not in favor of a chain restaurant and would like the Tiki Bar to stay but you can't stop city hall. The Tiki Bar was supposed to close on August 31st but it has managed to get a temporary reprieve. Come in while you still can and enjoy a Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Beautiful setting on the harbor. Good food. Great service. Worth the ride from Boynton Beach to meet and visit with friends of over 55 years.

Our latest visit here was a bit of a disappointment. Despite a somewhat sparse crowd at about 4:30 on a Wednesday, it took over 15 minutes before we were approached by waitstaff after being seated. Eventually we were served and the food was pretty good but the drinks seemed "weak". The prices were high in our opinion.

I visited on a near perfect day. Atmosphere is a 10. We tried the mahi tacos and Cuban. Both were great. Service is very efficient and the kitchen pumps out food. Later I moved to the bar and had the ahi nachos. Amazing flavors. Some sticker shock on the price but worth every cent. Live music was also a plus. Friendly staff and well managed. Great place here!

The only thing worse than the cigarette smoke was the loud saxophone screeching in our ears while we were trying to have lunch. This was our first visit since a change of ownership, and it will be our last.

This place has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The wings are excellent. I would also recommend the key lime pie.

Great music, good food...the tuna nachos are the best!!! Nice atmosphere at the marina. We wish they stayed open a little later. Service is ok...bartender at front bar (Nicky?) says hello to my guy, but totally ignores me...every time we go there! It has become a joke between us, taking bets to see if she will actually do it again, never fails...???

Waterfront, beautiful views, great food and drink. What more could you ask? Just a tad bit expensive. Came here on a Saturday at noon and got a table right away. It was packed 15 minutes later and this place is a tight fit. They are making use of every available space. Listened to some great live music. Watched the Gator game. Just enough TV's so you can watch but not be distracted by it. Had a great local brew. The service was quick and friendly. I had the blackened mahi sandwich with fries. It was excellent. My wife had the fried mahi sandwich and loved it. My son had fish tenders. Loved it. Had a great time in a cool place, on a beautiful day. If you are in Ft. Pierce I highly recommend giving this place a try.

A great outdoor waterfront bar with live music, friendly staff and good food. Get there early during snowbird season.

I live in West Palm, but I frequent the Fort Pierce area on most weekends. I like to explore the dining options on the water. My friend has been wanting to go here for a while and especially with its pending closure we wanted to try it. The vibe here is very cool. It has a "island feel", sitting on the water, next to a marina. On the Saturday we visited, there was live music. This is not a cheap place to eat, as most items begin at 12-14 bucks. The food was good. Well my burger was ok, although my friend said she loved her fried shrimp. I would stick with that and not a burger. Just saying. The service here is excellent. We were seated immediately and our waiter was helpful. This was not a" omg"!" I have to go back here"!, place, but i am glad I visited.
